Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Patricia, but mostly called Pat. I have four adult children, a boy and three girls. I also have 7 grandchildren, 4 boys and 3 girls. I have sort of dabbled in genealogy off and on for years, never really as seriously as some people, but have tried to get a little background of our family together just in case any of the grandchildren would be interested in their heritage one of these days.

I have always enjoyed taking pictures and have taken pictures for years of grave sites of my family and friends, so Find A Grave is right down my alley. I hope that I will be able to make some contribution that will be of some help to others. If you would like a copy of any pictures that I take, you have my permission to use them.

I live in South Central Tennessee and post mostly to the cemeteries in this area and some in North Central Alabama. I usually get my information from the Funeral Home obits, and some from the newspaper obits, so the information that is entered is all that I have. I also try to make trips to the local cemeteries to take gravestone pictures as often as possible.

I am not related to most of the sites that I am listing. If you find a member of your family among my listings and would like to assume the listing so you can enter more personal information about your loved one, please inform me. If you would like for me to add additional information, such as a correction of a date, or a link to a spouse or parent, or any other addition or correction, please let me know. For any transfers, please let me know your relationship. Also, you could consider setting up a virtual cemetery to include all of your relatives in one place regardless of their actual location.

To request a transfer, addition, or correction please go to the "Edit" tab on the memorial page. If you are a member of "Find A Grave", be sure that you are signed in to your account. Then go to "Suggest a Correction". You can write your request to me there under "suggest any other correction or addition". This will give me a direct link to the memorial that you are referring to. For any transfers, please let me know your relationship. Please allow sufficient time for me to respond, as I am not on the computer 24/7.

Transfer request
Miss Pat,
Please transfer Charles William Leighton 34230543 to nephew Joe Roberson 48033486. Charles was captured 5 Jan 1945 Battle of the Bulge and I have all his war records some of which he would be most proud to have on his listing. I manage all his/my relatives in Mimosa Cem.in Lawrence Co., TN, and wish to acquire his. After all I was named after him-Joe Charles Roberson.
Thanks for all the work you have done over the years.
You may view my website on the family at

With regards,
Joe Roberson

Queenie Burnett
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have been told that Queenie's Mother was married to a Charlie Hatfield but before she married Ernest Alexander. I have not been able to confirm that yet but I am still trying. Queenie was my Grandmother's half sister and unfortunately all of them are deceased now.

Thanks again.

RE: Jerry Prater Alley
Hi:
I will put a photo of his marker on your bio and you can certainly continue to manage it. I only put mine on when there was no other one. I will delete Mine.
Thanks.

Rita Purdy Barnes
This person is in the wrong cemetery. She should be in Stevenson Community with the rest of her Barnes and Purdy families.

Would you please move her?
