My heritage stems mostly from the Ohio/Hardin/Logan/Muhlenberg Co. KY area and the Warrick/Boonville/Newburgh area of IN.|
Our family came to the U.S. from England and settled in the areas of Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, and North/South Carolina. When the original 21 families came to settle in Ohio County, this brought some of our ancestors from the east.
I am interested in finding family members from my husband's heritage including James/Long/Johnson/Rogers/Crittenden/Templeton/
Thompson. They are primarily from the Ohio/Logan/Muhlenberg area of KY.
I am interested in finding family members from my Dad's side including Addington/Purdue/Thompson/Work/Swab/Coffee/
Pigman/Severs/Kimbley/Williams/Dickerson/Hudson. They settled mainly in Ohio Co. KY and the Warrick Co area of IN.
I am interested in finding family members from my mother's side including Nacke/Richardson/Noe/Wooldridge/Nichols/Martin/
Matthews. The Nacke family is from Ehrson Germany along the Rhine River. This ancestry is well documented and fairly complete. The members of the other clans are mainly from Hardin/Grayson/Ohio counties.
I am currently trying to add photos and memorials of family members. I am asking anyone who wants to use my photos to get my permission first please. FYI from Find-A-Grave..."The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website or personal use is permitted without the prior consent of the original submitter."
Thank you to all the generous folks who have posted memorials, photos, and taken photos for me.

I'm sorry I don't know these people. Let me know if you want this one transferred to you.

Hi again Diane,
I used to correspond with Dorothy years ago and do not remember her having a middle name for John James. Unfortunately she died in 2011 so I cannot ask her. I do not know of Bobby Anderson. Do you know of a website or email for him?
On his Stray Leaves website, Eric James also has the
middle name of Edmund. I have emailed him to ask his source, as he lists no sources on his site.
How are you related to John James?

Hi Diane, According to the sextant at St. Francis Cemetery, Lillian is buried in the same plot as her brother (#5) Henry, Memorial #39047015. If their parents' graves could be located, they could be connected. The stones pictured are the only ones at that grave location, and are also on Henry's memorial. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Patti

I suspect that it is not directly across from the school, in the sense of "just across the street". The land was fairly open farm land as far as I could tell; however, there was a gravel driveway that lead to a home up on a hill about 1/2 mile off the highway. It had wooded area around it. It did not want to go knocking on the door in case the cemetery might be nearer the school. However, I just looked on Google Earth and now see a clump of trees about 200 yards off the road. If I go out there again, I will see if that is it - yea, you're right, maybe November would be better.
