There is an Anderson Cemetery on the corner of Kay and Franklin- that is AA Cemetery
going back down Franklin toward Freeman is the Portlock. There is a fairly new development behind the cemetery and I believe that house is torn down
there was another house owned by Judge Portlock when you get almost down to Maryview
there may be some good old pictures in a book by Raymond Harper on South Norfolk
he has written several

Portlock Cemetery
Portlock Cemetery is on Franklin Street between Freeman and Kay Ave.
I did not add the cemetery but I have recorded graves in there.
There are some graves in this cemetery that moved to Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk.
This cemetery is located in the South Norfolk Area of Chesapeake

RE: Edward F. See
Okay, after finding Bonna See at Nationwide, I did further research at Ancestry, and found a lot more; I set up a memorial for her and posted what I found at Ancestry. Linda

RE: Edward F. See
I just checked Nationwide gravesite locator site. There is a Bonna B See, 09/30/1924 - 09/05/2007 buried at C-14 at Fort Benning, Wife of Edward F. See, MSG, US Army. It is spelled Bonna rather than Bonnie, but will see what shows up on the gravestone. I really don't mind the trip to Benning - it's just ten minutes from home, very accessible, and I always appreciate the chance to be able to help. Linda

RE: Edward F. See
Off hand, I do not know if See's wife is with him in the burial plot, but I'd be happy to go out there and look, and if he has a wife, I'll photo her side of the stone. I can also check with the cemetery office. It will be Thurs or Fri before I can get out there (this week), but I'd be very happy to do this for you. LInda
