ALSO, TRANSFER REQUESTS, PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE PERSON. IF I AM NOT RELATED, I WILL TRANSFER TO YOU.
I am currently researching every memorial I have to find any information that can make the memorial more valuable to others. I am going in order of the Trigg County Cemetery book for Trigg County.
Current Cemetery in progress: I finished East End, Trigg County, Ky. As of 05/18/2016, the 2 year journey of research in East End is complete. Feeling so accomplished.
If you find a duplication, it is not intentional. It will be from a cemetery that I've not researched yet. I will get to it...promise!!

This research is a long on-going process. I enjoy researching my family and learning about others that I never got to know. I am only here to find my family, but spend countless hours helping others -IT IS WHAT I ENJOY DOING. If you've not stepped foot in Christian County or Trigg County, then don't assume that you know more about a cemetery.
Family names: Stewart, Turner, Goodwin, Haydon, Larkins, Atwood, Wells, Boren from the Christian County/Trigg County, KY Area. From Smith County, TN the Murray/Gibbs Family. The Murray line has led me to the Gross, Madden, Hewitt, Ferguson, Blossom, Roe and so many more names.
I am from Christian County, Kentucky. I lived in Cerulean, Gracey, and Hopkinsville my entire life until 18 years ago when I moved to Tennessee. So everyone understands my memorials I enter...I am not a NUMBERS kind of member. I am a GENEALOGY kind of member. I don't like people who are rude and numbers people. It's about OUR family history being done correct. I maintain the majority of the memorials in Robertson-Hite Cemetery in Trigg County, Ky. Kathleen Boyd transferred them all to me after I requested the Larkins to be transferred. She maintains a lot of memorials as she has taken on her husband's since he went home to be with the Lord. I will honor and maintain each memorial with the highest respect. _____________________________
When I go to a cemetery that has my family members in it, I enjoy taking pictures of the entire cemetery (time permitting). I do not have any issues with anyone taking and using my pictures of the headstones that are in your family tree. However, if I have added pics of a person, please ask before you use them. If anyone has information on any memorial that I have added, please send me a note thru the edit link on the memorial. I will be happy to update/link family members. It's about our history.....keeping everyone together for our future generations to have. _____________________________
Happy Graving! I never thought I would enjoy something so much! Be blessed folks!

You entered a memorial for Fred Hindsley Find A Grave #101954400. Do you know how he is related to Clyde Odell Hindsley Find A Grave # 163271426 who is buried in the same cemetery? I'd like to make a family link if they are related. Please email me directly.

I'm currently working on the Vine Street Cemetery Restoration here in Hopkinsville...as well as trying to "fix" Riverside on Find a Grave. But I'm sure I can find time to help you if you want me to. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll get in touch with you. I usually limit my surveys to Christian County, but would be interested in learning more about Trigg...assuming that is where this cemetery is located. Let me know.

Hi, Brandy. Unfortunately I live in Texas. John D. Faulkner's son Josiah Faulkner (named for his maternal grandfather) moved to Hunt County, Texas. My great grandfather (Josiah's son) Wayland Francis Faulkner) was born in Cerulean, Trigg Co., KY . I'll see if perhaps the librarian can send me copies. I'll look the library up online and get in touch with her. I'm betting his wife Nancy Anderson Faulkner is also buried there in an unmarked grave. Thank you so much for your help. Hope you have great weekend. Sharon Smith Logan

I need your help on the death date of J. D. Faulkner - my ggg grandfather. Could you please advise as to how you found his death date? I am attempting to join the National Society of the Daughters of the American Colonists. I have been looking for information on his death for years.
Thanks, Sharon Logan

Hi Brandy: I donít have that information. But her husbands obituary was published in the Kentucky New Era one day after his death. They passed in the same place and are buried in the same cemetery, so Iím assuming that her obituary was published in Kentucky New Era on or around Jan. 28, 1998. Sorry I canít be more specific.
Thank you. TONI
|Camille Johnson||RE: Cheatham family of Trigg County, Kentucky|
Thank you for wanting to help me. Frank Cheatham was my great great grandfather. He was born Dec. 8, 1865 in Kentucky. His parents names were Kit and Laney Cheatham. I am having a hard time finding Laney's maiden name. I found a marriage record for a Dalana Pinner and Kit Cheatham, but I don't think that Pinner was her maiden name. I think that she got married and her last name was Pinner. Frank Cheatham married Maggie Civils. Thanks for all your help in my search. Camille Johnson
