We are both retired Air Force members. Don is from Chicago, Ill and spent 24 years in the Air Force. Mary is from Boston, Mass and spent 21 years in the Air Force. We are retired now. We were looking for something to keep us busy and Mary found this site while working on the Family Tree. We decided to become volunteers to help others be able to see the grave sites of family members in a far away place.|
Please consider this as permission to copy or repost any photo we place on Find-A-Grave for your personal use only.
Any memorial that we add, we will gladly transfer to anyone who wants to manage the memorial.

Thanks for the corrections. (120946102 & 120948148). I'm working on updating the memorials with location, transcription, photos, etc.

stating that I thought that family might be re-interred to Mount Auburn. But it turned out to be the other Josiah Vose, nephew. I can't find Ruhamah, wife of your Josiah Vose. You do realize I transferred the family to you? Your email betrays you today... lol

Never mind, leave everything as is. I found Josiah Vose and Ann White, they were re-interred at Mount Auburn. Josiah Vose that you were working on is still at Central Burying Ground, spouse unfound.

He was my 2nd great grand aunt's father in law so his isn't really related to me. I was just looking for someone who is related that would like to manage his memorial. Thanks for the info and your work on findagrave!

Are you related to Jacob Barns (1798-1840)?

Thank you for your reply. I've added the info. I only asked about the middle name because I needed to explain the C. on the marker somehow, as well as I like to try to source any info that may contradict the marker in case anyone questions it. Please let me know if you come up with anything more on the middle initial. Thanks again!

Hi, thanks for sending the edits. I've posted a photo of the marker on the memorial. I was wondering, since you requested that the middle name be Elizabeth and the maiden name be Morgan, could you possibly let me know about the C. in her name which is on the marker? Also, I see the birth date in the death cert you sent says June 27, instead of 23 as is on the marker. I'll be glad to change that and make a note about the marker date. However, I noticed the death cert says nothing about her maiden name or middle name so I was wondering about a source possibly that I could reference in the memorial for the names Elizabeth and Morgan. Thanks for all your help!

Thank you for taking the time to photograph his tombstone. Greatly appreciated.
|Tom Rosenburg||Thanks for the photo!|
Thank you so much for the photo. And a good one to boot!
I've been working on the ancestry and discovered this photo was missing.
Roy Rosenburg is my grand uncle.
Thanks again, I will play the kindness forward!
Don & Mary,
Thank you for adding the close up pictures of my great grandparents and other members of the family last year. At my Dad's funeral in September 2010, I thought I had a picture taken of my Dad's uncle, Emmett Patterson. His tombstone is the only one I do not have a picture of. If you are ever in the Merkel TX area again, could you please take a photo of Emmett's tombstone and add it to his memorial?
Emmett Patterson #58930540
Merkel's cemetery is called Rose Hill in Taylor Co. It is about 16 miles west of Abilene.
Thank you. It would be greatly appreciated.
