RE: James L Williams
You are very welcome.

It is good to see there is someone who is interested, especially in these who were lost so young.

RE: James Leroy Williams
Hi, Deb!

So glad you found the memorial for James Williams. I have made the corrections for him but am transferring management to you in the event you want to add more information.

I took this photo and added the memorial while filling another request at Joplin. I do not have connections to his family of which I know. (There are Williams in my family but not in Idaho.)

If you want to have changes made to a memorial, please go to the edit tab and enter data or make a request there. It is much easier for managers to make changes or OK them that way.

Thanks...KT

Hi GeorgiaBelle,
You are welcome for the photo. I'm glad I could find it for you. I always take a photo of the marker, and another of the surroundings so that the marker can be found.

RE: Helping with additions
Deb,
I used the email address on your contributors page, and not sure why you didn't receive the email that I sent you. I'll try to remember what I sent you, but I'll place it on your page this time.

On sites like Lindquist, Meyers, and other mortuary sites, You can find older obituaries by searching under the last name. For a list of names to check from, to see if the person has a memorial, type an a in the search box and hit enter. You get a long list on Lindquist, that dates back to 2007. However, I and others have been adding memorials for these people, but I'm sure there are some that still need a memorial. Another site to keep an eye on is Utah Obits/ObitsUtah.com, as they post obits from many different mortuaries.

You can add a picture to the memorial by placing your cursor on the picture then right click and choose "save image as". However, the computer will give the picture a title if you let it, and then you will need to delete it when you are through with it. A better option is for you to title it. I picked the title of mem, which to me, is short for memorial. Instead of deleting it when you are done, you leave it until the next time that you need to add a picture, and then save the next picture under the same title and it will copy over the old picture. That saves time in deleting the pictures, because you don't want thousands of those pictures on your computer. This way you only have one, you simply replace it each time.

To add an obit to the memorial, you use the copy and paste method. While pressing down on the left button of your mouse, scan the obit to highlight it. Then right click, and choose copy. Then go to the bio section of the memorial and click inside the area, then right click and choose paste. After that you will need to proof read the obit to make sure that it's what you want before you save it. You can delete something that you don't want, or re-word it, or add to it, or you can change it by adding paragraphs where there aren't any. I do that all the time, I separate the date of death from the date of birth, from the marriage, and anything else that I want to do before I'm through with it. It makes it easier to read and find what you're looking for when it is sectioned off. Often they will place those survived and those preceded in death in the same paragraph. I like to separate them, but you decide how you want it to read. Make it your way.

I know that I go into a lot of detail, and for that I apologize. If you need any more help, or questions answered, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely, Richard
