T A Hinton
How can I edit my message? I made an err on a small detail: TA Hinton was likely an uncle to my GRT Grandfather Robert Campbell Hinton, the brother of his father, John M. Hinton

Wayne Eddings At East Laurel

I went to East Laurel to fulfill the photo request for Wayne Eddings.

I did not find him. I found several Eddings in one area and there was one that had an old funeral home marker on it but it was not readable. I'm thinking it could be Wayne. I'll make one more good search and let you know know my results.

I'll upload the other Eddings photos today.

Thomas Adrian Hinton
Thank you for your hard work. Thanks to Jack Wood we found Vianna (Vienna) Hinton Bledsoe's grave not realizing Thomas was buried there. I have his first Infantry photo from a very old family photo album. I have seen the family tree you've also posted to his name which makes a good proof of some relationship with my Hinton lines. According to our family history as to the end of the CW bits of our family came to Jackson because of family ties. I think Thomas was taken in as a small infant by an LB Shelton and family.

We have a sword Revolutionary War period handed down from my grtgrt grandmother with that story. I think other Hintons may have claimed the same line, but our lines share multiple Hugh Campbell Hintons it seems.

Please share what other information you may have. It may offer us some exciting clarity to what happened at the end of the CW when Union forces toke ver the Alabama farm where this sword was buried to protect Hugh's identity , as he was in some kind of CSA militia, unknown to us in fact.

I think these are the same person. I don't understand two different markers though. What do you think?
