We are both retired Air Force members. Don is from Chicago, Ill and spent 24 years in the Air Force. Mary is from Boston, Mass and spent 21 years in the Air Force. We are retired now. We were looking for something to keep us busy and Mary found this site while working on the Family Tree. We decided to become volunteers to help others be able to see the grave sites of family members in a far away place.|
We are working on the family names Cavender, Stark, Kasper, Bartz, Costa, Vose, Nieforth, and Slade.
Please consider this as permission to copy or repost any photo we place on Find-A-Grave for your personal use only.
Any memorial that we add, we will gladly transfer to anyone who wants to manage the memorial.

Thank you very much for your photographs from the Old Bethel Cemetery. The photos of the Gates family and James Holt, are my relatives. I appreciate being able to see them!
|Ken & Sheila Lence||James Ross Stark|
As you suggested, I linked James Ross Stark's parents to his memorial.
If he is a relative of yours, I would be glad to transfer. Just let me know.
Thanks! ~ Ken & Sheila Lence

Don & Mary,
As you requested I linked James Field Vose (92769640) to his parents. Are either of you related to him? His wife Sophia P Andrews is my 1st cousin 4x removed.

I will be happy to transfer any memorials to you if you wish. I am not concerned about numbers or the degree of relationship like a lot of members.Billy
Thank you so much for the up date

Thanks for the fix on her parents. It makes a LOT more sense.

I tried to add Shelby Cunningham #116646974 as a child of George A Cunningham #116647568 and was unable. I had difficulty finding information on Shelby in ancestry.com and I think adding him to his parents on Find-A-Grave might be helpful to others. I am just a friend who has known the family most of my 74 years. JK Taylor

Thank you for offering to transfer the memorial, Mary. However, I am no relation to Mr. Hull. I am actually going through tons of previous research from about 15 years ago and have found hundreds of obituaries that I printed and kept for future reference. I suppose one could say I was a bit obsessive-compulsive when it came to obits. My g-g-g grandmother and two of her sons left Alabama and my g-g-g-grandfather to go to the Indian Territory (I think my g-g-g-grandfather was a bit of a rascal and don't blame her!). Anyway, I wanted to learn more about her and other family members. As this was long before Find A Grave existed, I just kept every obit from that area that might remotely be connected. Actually, some of them have been quite helpful. As I am going through them, I'm checking to see if they are listed on Find A Grave and am providing the information in the hopes that their descendants might find it helpful. Perhaps some of Mr. Hull's descendants will find him. :-)
Thank you for the offer and for all the work you do on Find A Grave! It's amazing how so many total strangers have voluntarily donated SO MANY hours of labor in order to document those who lived before us. You are appreciated!

I wonder who our common ancestor might be. I descend from the Lermonds and the Andrews. Is either branch one of yours as well? Let's see if we can find how we are related.
(email@example.com) if you want to eliminate the middleman.
|Peter Morgan||Sarah Vose|
Don & Mary,
At your request, I have linked Sarah to her parents Elijah Vose & Sarah Andrews. Happy to do so, since Sarah Andrews was my 3rd great grand aunt. Are you folks related to any of these 3?
