I was born in Murray Ky and lived in this area all of my life except for about 7 years I lived in southern Ill.|
Now im back in Calloway Co. and will probably die here, I hope not to soon though maybe in 40 years or so but if it's sooner then I will not complain because I have had a good life!
Also if there is any wrong info that I have posted or if anyone want's to add to what I have already then just use the suggest a correction feature and I will edit the changes.
Also if anyone want's ownership of any memorial that I have made then I will be happy to transfer it to you, if you are closer kin because I like the family to take over as in adding info so other kin folks can connect with one another.
Also I don't mind being the middle man to add the family links to the memorial's that I have made.
Also anyone is welcomed to use my photo's that I have took as long as they are not sold for profit and it would be nice to give me credit whenever they are used on the public websites like Ancestry.com
I have noticed that the paid websites has my photo's also but im sure they don't say where the photo's came from ok im all for helping others but im not all for helping some website to make money from anything I contribute on another Volunteer website.
Im not in this for money im in it to connecet past family together when FIND A GRAVE BECOMES AS A paid website then I will remove all of my photo's and memorails from here just hope I never have to do that.
Ok probaly wouldn't anyway since it would help others that is the only reason not to delete my stuff!
Ok was thinking about updating my profile but right now all I have to say is if it wasn't for volunteer's then the other pay site's wouldn't be as popular I have paid for years of subscriptions in the past and got little result's from it most the time duplicates and triples of dates that didn't even really match my kinfolks.

Got your message regarding Ruby's burial. It seems like this situation is happening more & more with memorials for women who have two married names. It is really a problem for duplications and also for the families who want both married names listed on the memorial vs Find a Grave rules.
I appreciate you researching her burial and for deleting the memorial that you created--sort of seems unfair. In any event, I connected Ruby with her daughter. As always, thank you and hope all is well with you.

Thank u so much u have no idea how much I appreciate it! He hardly had any family left and his ex wife and I don't speak so other than going all the way down there myself I have no way if knowing what's going on. I have to assume one of his few remaining relatives is working on getting the headstone made but if not it will become my mission to do so. I really appreciate u taking the time for me :)

Congratulations on being in the top 10 photo requests filled!
I noticed you live were my ancestors came from, Calloway County, KY. If you ever see any GALLOWAY graves... Please let me know. My Galloway's came there in the early 1800's from North Carolina and my line left for Texas in the 1850's.
Thank you and congratulations again.

Thank you Craig!

Hi Craig. What a massive job you have done on Find A Grave!! I was wondering if there was a way to edit a name of a graveyard. I think the Price Cemetery in Graves County should be Prince...the road sign says Prince and you took that picture. If you have time could you check on this please. Thanks for all you do!!

If you have a photo of his tombstone, could you please attach it to his posting on Find A Grave [Find a Grave]?
I double checked my sources and this is what I came up with:
WWI Draft Card dated June 5, 1917, John Tom Curd b. Jan 28, 1893 Calloway, KY, supporting mother and wife, bad eyes & bowel trouble.
TN Marriage Record: John Curd & Novella Crounck married Oct 4, 1916 Weakley, TN.
I could not find any death record or death index to verify the death date of 1959 or 1954. The Graves Co Cemetery Book Vol 1 had it has 1954.
It seems that the tombstone dates conflict with the dates found documentation.
I thank you so much for this information.
