I was born in Murray Ky and lived in this area all of my life except for about 7 years I lived in southern Ill.|
Now im back in Calloway Co. and will probably die here, I hope not to soon though maybe in 40 years or so but if it's sooner then I will not complain because I have had a good life!
Also if there is any wrong info that I have posted or if anyone want's to add to what I have already then just use the suggest a correction feature and I will edit the changes.
Also if anyone want's ownership of any memorial that I have made then I will be happy to transfer it to you, if you are closer kin because I like the family to take over as in adding info so other kin folks can connect with one another.
Also I don't mind being the middle man to add the family links to the memorial's that I have made.
Also anyone is welcomed to use my photo's that I have took as long as they are not sold for profit and it would be nice to give me credit whenever they are used on the public websites like Ancestry.com
I have noticed that the paid websites has my photo's also but im sure they don't say where the photo's came from ok im all for helping others but im not all for helping some website to make money from anything I contribute on another Volunteer website.
Im not in this for money im in it to connecet past family together when FIND A GRAVE BECOMES AS A paid website then I will remove all of my photo's and memorails from here just hope I never have to do that.
Ok probaly wouldn't anyway since it would help others that is the only reason not to delete my stuff!
Ok was thinking about updating my profile but right now all I have to say is if it wasn't for volunteer's then the other pay site's wouldn't be as popular I have paid for years of subscriptions in the past and got little result's from it most the time duplicates and triples of dates that didn't even really match my kinfolks.

Thanks a lot Craig for adding the Headstone Photo to Henry H. Miller's memorial. It is greatly appreciated.

Craig: If you have photos of their tombstones, could you please email me them for the updates to the Graves Co Cemetery burial listing or lists them on Clarks River Cemetery. I've removed all of them from the Curtis Cemetery. The Graves Co Cemetery Book had them listed in Curtis & Finney Cemetery aka Curtis Cemetery, work done by Dr. Jacob Mayer. I guess he was wrong after all.
Thanks, Shirley :)

Craig: I'm updating the Congleton-Dick Cemetery and came across the names Nannie May Dick, her infant son Vester B. & Rebecca B. Dick. I went back and looked at the census:
1900 Census: Caswell Dick 36; Nanie May 35 [m:1893 - I think this is his 2nd wife]; Ellie B. 14 [daughter, who is buried with her father]; Hesther 4[daughter]; Maudie F. 10mos [daughter].
1910 Census: Garand G. Dick 46 widow [Caswell Grant - Nannie May(Denson) Dick b.May 12, 1864 d. Apr 29, 1904 & infant son Vester D. b. Sept 25, 1895 d. Mar 17, 1896]; Ela B. 25 [daughter who is buried with her father/shares a stone]; Hester E. 13 [daughter]; Maudie F. 9 [daughter]; Clay H. 8 [son].
1920 Census: Caswell Dick 55 [widow]; Hester 22 [daughter]; Clay 16 [son]; Henry Patterson 27 [son-in-law]; Elie 36 [daughter]; Guy W. 3y11m; Mary S. 1y1m.
If you look at your posting on Findagrave for Elia Dick Patterson Dick, you will see that her maiden name was Dick and she married Henry Patterson as shown on the 1920 Census. So, Elia is buried and shares a stone with her father. That's strange, but true.
In addition, Caswell Grant Dick married his 1st wife Rebecca B. (unk maiden name as of now, I'll keep looking). She is buried in Congleton-Dick Cemetery. She is listed as Rebecca B. Dick Died April 23, 1885, Aged 22y3m3days, so her birth would have been Jan 20, 1863.
Thank you for adding all this information. I really appreciate it!!
Thank you for the photos.

Craig, thanks much for updates - I will take you up on your offer to transfer and thank you very much for your generosity.
You surprised me with your quick response and you went the xtra mile in addressing other relatives.
I've also noted other comments and how straight forward, honest and extremely helpful you are.
On a scale of 1-10 I'd say you're a definite 15.
Bless you and have a wonderful day!

Hey you added these about 5 days before me. I will delete the duplicates when you move them over to the other cemetery listing. It is more accurate.
Thank you for the info, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I've been getting ready to leave for the Dominican Republic tomorrow(Wednesday). I would appreciate it if you did transfer the stuff to me of John and Bess Thomas;however,I am new to all of this and haven't quiet gotten the hang of it yet. Lol. A work in progress I guess. Once again, thank you so much!
