Let me start by saying, People that send me 300+ edits just because you are bored and have nothing else to do will be ignored. There is nothing wrong with the names I have added. Please find another hobby.|
I take pictures of every stone in the cemetery. Therefore I have no way of knowing if the person is still living. I mean no disrespect by adding them.
Everyone deserves to be recognized with a memorial. Please keep in mind that deaths are public record. Cemeteries are also public.
I will be more than happy to add family links. Please just send request through the edit on each memorial, instead of asking for transfers.
Findagrave is doing a great service for us and I appreciate it. So please, remember that we are all in this for the same reason. To help others and pay tribute to all those who have gone on before us.
Please do not ask for transfers if you are researching family surnames. That isnt fair to the actual descendants.
Please send a message through the edit, on each memorial. That way I can find the memorials quickly. If they are in my family tree at all, I may choose not to transfer them.

Thank you for transferring my gr grandmother to me.
There are 2 grave markers and both are hard to read in the photos. The larger marker says 'in memory' which often means that is a cenotaph, and maybe cremains were interred with an older grave?
The smaller, (and seems to be older) marker looks like maybe the name was ??cyia??? and the date could be from the 1800's or even the 1600's???
Or the smaller one might read Lucy A, which could mean 2 markers for the same person... unusual but not impossible.
If you can read these better from your original photos, or if you are ever out in that cemetery again... could you please try to make a transcript or maybe a paper rubbing, and send me the text of both markers? Pretty please?
Lucy and her husband are both 'brickwalls' for me and this would help me sooooo much. (I have found someone in a census who MIGHT be Lucy's mother, but the state is unexplainable.)
You could just use Lucy's edit button to reach me.
Thanks so much

You're very welcome. Sorry the sun was shining in a way my shadows were in the pictures. Also I went to Johnson Grove and searched for your requests there. I couldn't find those. I walked the entire cemetery several times but didn't see any of those.

Thank you so much for adding the information of Salinda Hodges. I am very appreciative.

I went to this cemetery last weekend. It is so overgrown (full of poison ivy, too). Thank goodness you have wonderful pictures (from 2008). I cannot believe how many cemeteries there are in Marshall County!
|Dorothy Barrow||RE: Transfers|
Thanks. I will do that.

Thank you for the memorial transfer of Nettie (Fuqua) Hopper, it is much appreciated.
|Randy Largent||Louisa Mangrum|
Thank you for your efforts to locate a stone for her.

Kathy. I walked the cemetery and did not find Susan's grave site at Palestine Cemetery, Calloway Co, Ky. Can you help me with a plot location. The cemetery folks don't have a plot location either.
|rocky fields||RE: Hershel Cody Morris|
I understand. I just didn't want anyone to be mislead out there. Ellis and Evalee Morris are my grandparents. Counting my grandfather Ellis, there were 13 children born to James Albert Morris. Three by his first marriage to Lizzie Mattie Russell: Stella Morris Doss(the oldest born 1904), Bill Morris and Evert Morris. James Albert Morris then married Mary Crabtree and had the other 10 children. Tammy Morris Fields
|rocky fields||Herschel Cody Morris|
This Herschel Cody Morris does not belong with James Albert Morris and Mary Crabtree. They did have a son named Herschel but he was born in 1913 and died at the age of 15. He died in my grandfather, Ellis Morris's arms. If you could please remove this Herschel from this family please. Thank you Tammy Morris Fields
