|I am a native of Utah and have been doing research for almost 20 years. I have a lot of resources at my fingertips. I also have access to lots of Utah records and know where you can get specific documents to help find your ancestors. Especially of interest, very early Ogden City Cemetery burial records.|
I am extremely passionate about taking headstone photos in old cemeteries simply because the cemetery markers and tombstones are being disintegrated and destroyed by many elements. These markers and tombstones might be some of the oldest in Utah. The biggest threat the headstones face today are vandals. The other obvious threats are weather and time. Now is the time to photograph them while they are still intact. I encourage whomever would like to photograph and care for tombstones to do it now so that further generations will have a chance to view these headstones, if no way else than by photograph.
I welcome any questions you might have. Don't hesitate to contact me if you need me to help you. I have decided since I am asked so much to do genealogy research and information about obituaries, etc. that I must charge a nominal fee because it cost me gas and time. Obituary requests for Weber County is 1.00 for one or 5 for $4.00.
I am contemplating covering several other counties in genealogical research. Just ask me I might know how to help you get pointed in the right direction.
If you have any questions or requests please email me Utahtombstonelady@hotmail.com.
For all the people whom have taken the
time to take photos for my memorials...a BIG THANKS!
Please don't create duplicate memorials for people I have taken photos or created memorials for...simply ask and I will gladly transfer ownership over to you, unless I am related to the same individual. Please be respectful and ASK ME before you take and post my photos to different web sites! You may use or post a copy of headstones to other websites as long as you post this info with it: Special permission has been given by Utahtombstonelady@hotmail.com.
I am related to several individuals in my memorials. I WILL NOT turn over OWNERSHIP for them for obvious reasons.
If you want to take over ownership you must click the link and send your contributor # so I can transfer it over to you!

I have discovered duplicate memorials for Ruth Parks #96646755 and #95340903. Would you consider contacting the other contributor and combining them into one? Thanks
|Jody Boyd||RE: Lyla Moore's Obituary|
Thank you so much for the obit. I didn't know that she had passed away. Jody
|Don Calhoun||Jana Rae Martin|
Thank you you Little Person :)
|Jan Beasley||RE: Sarah Van Eaton|
I do not find a memorial for Joseph Finley Palmer (1854-1893.) His father, John Rodham Palmer is # 43802463 in Sidney Cemetery, Sidney, Fremont, Iowa. His mother, Sarah Ann (Van Eaton) Palmer (1827-1865) is # 50943739 in Old Thorntown Cemetery, Thorntown, Boone, Indiana.
Joseph Finley Palmer's wife, Cordelia Jane "Delia" (Tipton) Palmer Bacome, Engle is # 39303262, in Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Mills County, Iowa.
|RebeccaBennett||RE: Madge Watts|
Thank you so much for both Madge and Eldon. I'll take good care of them :)
|Debbie Johnson||RE: Eugene Pettry|
Thank you. Have a blessed day!
|Larry Draughon||Martha F. Pearson Jenkins|
Thank you ever so much for the editing of Martha Jenkins Memorial. It is much appreciated.
|T. Rex Wilson||Sarah Justina Wilson Weston|
Sarah Justina Wilson Weston (Find A Grave Memorial# 79103781) and other Wilsons in the Thurman Cemetery may be from the family that appears in the 1860 census here: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/M82G-1KD
and the 1870 census here: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MDV3-L62
In particular, it is possible that Thomas Ewell Wilson (Find A Grave Memorial# 107066520) is her brother, and maybe Eliza Wilson is her mother.
I am descended from other Wilsons who lived in Fremont County, Iowa, so I am eager to discover if there is a link to the Wilsons in Thurman.
|FamleLady||RE: Rena Ball|
You are more than welcome. Thanks for letting me know there has been a correction for both duplicate memorials, Rena Ball and Lucille Mobley.
You are on the ball and that is appreciated.
