Bio and Links
Bio Photo Wish I would have known about this site years back. My wife and I have been in cemeteries all over the country from Alaska to Arkansas and New Mexico to New Hampshire. We have over 19,000 names in our family tree. I have a passion for doing this and would be glad to help anyone that I can. If I have something on here you would like removed I will do it.

I will be happy to transfer a memorial to you if your relation is closer than ours. Please include your Findagrave number, the name and number of memorial, and the cemetery where the memorial is located.

I have become the Family Historian and the keeper of records. It is a life-long journey that continues to fascinate, amaze and sometimes puzzle me.. but the path has taught me the value of patience and perseverance - both valuable life lessons.

I also do a web page for the little town of Indianola Nebraska that I live in. The site is http://indianolane.com

Photo of Lutheran Cemetery, Otis, KS
Bill,

I noticed a photo you have provided for the cemetery is not correct according to the map for the cemetery. The top photo is of the cemetery directly behind Otis-Bison High School Football Field. The second photo is from somewhere else.

The googlemap and apparently coordinates show a cemetery further removed to the SW of Otis. Anything you can do to correct that?

Thanks, Dave

Thank you so much for the pix of Donald Buchanan's memorial stone. I see you were out in the snow that day! Thank you so much for your efforts. I am afraid I limit my excursions to the nicer days. Thanks again and thank you for all you do for Find A Grave.

Regarding Elizabeth Ann WHISLER/DANIELS
Thank you so much Bill for all the time and effort that it took you to find the grave of Elizabeth Ann WHISLER/DANIELS. I appreciate all of the work that you do as a volunteer.
I am working on a genealogy for a friend of mine that doesn't have a computer and she is so appreciative.

Interesting...
My great great grandparents on one side also came from Ontario to the States (Iowa, then Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin) around 1870. They were from near Smiths Falls, ON. They then came back to Canada in 1903, but to Alberta where I was born. Funny thing that you mention Rostock though, as my great, great grandfather on my other side of the family was born in Rostock, but the original one in Germany, not the Ontario version. :)

Cheers,
Ken
