Hezekiah Boone gravestone
Thank you for posting Hezekiah's gravestone. I am a little puzzled and hope that you can help. When you enlarge the photo of his gravestone, it appears that the death year may be 1883 and the age being 59 years. Don't know if this is caused from weather conditions over the years or if there was was possibly another Hezekiah Boone who was buried in the same cemetery or a misconception that this Hezekiah is the son of George and Deborah when it may be someone else. If you live in the area and have time and are able to do it, could you check the stone again and see if you can remove the moss and use chalk (although some don't agree with this procedure) to bring out the letters and numbers so that the information can be deciphered correctly so all will know the truth as to who this Hezekiah is. Thanks.
