Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in CA.and moved to 1971 when my Dad retired from the U.S.Navy.He was born in Blanchard,IA.

My Mother hails from Hamilton,OH.but was raised around Santa Cruz,CA.

I served as an Infantry Scout in the Army National Guard. So "scouting" out stones & ancestors is right up my alley.Lol.

I DO NOT deal with the Atlantic Cemetery Sexton. The cemeter phone # 712-243-1254.I will make every attempt to locate a stone on my own.

I personally find it disturbing that someone would rather hold on to a memorial that they are not related to because of the findagrave 4 generation "guidelines".It is a GUIDELINE people not a RULE.Geez!

I would prefer my created memorials were with family no matter how far down the line or even a friend. At least they are FAMILY or a FRIEND!Isn't that why we do this?

DUPLICATES-I previously was glad to remove mine whether it had been created first or not.But as of late people are blatantly adding duplicates without looking first.Just because they may be your family doesn't mean you can undo someone else's work.Because of this I will no longer remove mine if made first and then I will have findagrave remove the duplicate you made.

Any questions, additions, corrections,or transfers don't be afraid to ask.I find it very RUDE for someone to send along a correction, edit, addition etc, without at least a "Would you" add, edit etc.REMEMBER you are asking someone to do something for you!

If I use your gravestone photo on my family tree I give you credit with a simple "Photo courtesy of (your member name) findagrave".Because I so appreciate the kindness and hard work you do to get me a picture of my ancestors.

Any and all pictures I take are for you,so they are yours to use as you feel. The only exception being those marked "Courtesy of" which means I got those from someone else and was used with their permission.

If I have added a family member or your memorial and you have not passed yet and it upsets you PLEASE let me know and I will remove it immediately. It is not my intention to upset anyone.

Okay---I am sorry! The other one just had more information, that's all I was going by! I had taken a picture of her stone and when I went to upload it, noticed there were two pages. I can upload the picture to your page if you like. Thank you!

RE: Clifford Martin at Atlantic
Glenn, I have made a memorial for Clifford's father William Martin who was my great-great uncle and requested for you to link Clifford to him. I don't know right now who Clifford's mother was so I'm still working on that. She was not Minnie Buchanan Martin though. Thank you!! Lynne

RE: Glennis & Mildred Tharp
You're very welcome. Glad to help. I don't know if you noticed or not but there is another Glennis Tharp buried there that passed in 2006. I suspect it's Glennis and Mildred's grandson. Also, Michael Riddell's mother was a Tharp.

Merry Christmas.

Thank You
Just a shout out to say how much I appreciate all the work you are doing especially in regards to the photos. It is wonderful and the quality is outstanding. Many of my relatives are now more than just a name in the Atlantic Cemetery. Thank you very much. :) Merry Christmas !! Julie
