I was born in CA.and moved to IA.in 1971 when my Dad retired from the U.S.Navy.He was born in Blanchard,IA.I served as an Infantry Scout in the Army National Guard.|
I DO NOT deal with the Atlantic Cemetery Sexton.The CCGS Cemetery books were done in 1986 so later burials are by chance or contacting the cemetery for a location.Their phone #712-243-1254.I will make every attempt to locate a stone on my own but the cemetery is quite large.
I personally find it disturbing that someone would rather hold on to a memorial that they are not related to because of the findagrave 4 generation "guidelines".It is a guideline people not a rule.Geez!
I would prefer my created memorials were with family no matter how far down the line or even a friend.At least they are FAMILY or a FRIEND!Isn't that why we do this?
DUPLICATES-I will gladly remove any duplicate memorial whether mine was made first or not as long as it isnt family.
Any questions,additions,corrections,or transfers don't be afraid to ask.Findagrave is not about "numbers" to me.Making sure people are remembered and not forgotten is.
If I use your gravestone photo on my family tree I give you credit with a simple "Photo courtesy of (your member name) findagrave".Because I so appreciate the kindness and hard work you do to get me a picture of my ancestors.
Any and all pictures I take are for you,so they are yours to use as you feel.The only exception being those marked "Courtesy of" which means I got those from someone else and was used with their permission.
If I have added a family member or your memorial and you have not passed yet and it upsets you PLEASE let me know and I will remove it immediately.It is not my intention to upset anyone.
I AM NOT,NOR DO I CLAIM TO BE PERFECT!

I am just so sorry that I had so many memorials in the wrong cemetery. Not sure how that happened, but I appreciate your diligence in getting it straightened out!

Thank you so much Glen, a great picture.
|Robert Fowler||RE: Kevin Gail Burke|
Either way is good by me, not a big deal. Actually it was pointed out to me that I had him in Atlantic Cemetery and he is in Atlantic Catholic Cemetery so I moved him a day or so ago.
So duplication wasn't really a thing. Just figured easier to put his citation on yours. Let me know, either way Glenn. Oh and since you actually took the photos of his site, to me that kind of takes precedent plus you had him in the right place. Just think he deserves the citation showing either way. Let me know my friend.

Would you consider taking the DSC citation off of my site for him and putting it on yours. I would delete my entry if you would do that.
Thank you SO much for the photos!
