Interested in surnames Berry, Hall, Cunningham, French, Winn and Gilbert in Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, and the Carolinas. I am willing to do photos of any graveyards (for any surname) in my area that contain the surnames of my interest, or for graveyards that are as of yet undocumented.

You are absolutely welcome to use any of the pictures I took for anything you need. Once I put them on here, they aren't mine anymore. That's just the way I see it. Plus, it's your family, and I hope they help out in your research.

William Raymond Shirley Plaque
Hi, as you recall there was a mix up in the number of Bucksville cemeteries. One of the pics you took and uploaded was a flat marker referring to William Ray Shirley's military service.
It was initially uploaded to B'ville in Jefferson county but his listing created by patricia guillory has been deleted.
I copied that pic when I saw it to use in his memorial in Bucksville cemetery in tuscalooa county. I made a notation that it was taken by you but it doesn't show up when viewing his memorial unless you click on it.

Is this okay with you, or would you prefer to uploaded it where it will show your name instead of mine.
I'm trying to follow proper protocol as much as possible and don't wish to undermine your efforts.
If you would like to see the pic, send me your email address and i'll forward it then you can tell me what your wishes are.

Thanks for all your help...God Bless all

Bucksville Memorisl Management
This is really neat, can't tell you how much it means to me.
Patricia Guillory and I have been emailing each other about the mix up with the two Bucksvilles and my ancestors.
I haven't heard from her since the last mail but I noticed that William Ray Shirley, and the Vaughts don't seem to appear in her listing of B'ville in jefferson county.
She was patient and graceful in trying to get to a solution and I suppose she found one.

Thank the Lord we have good people like you and Patricia who try very hard to put a face on those who came before us and match them to their families.
I'm now going to enter them in my list and send out request for photos of headstones.
I think in the future i'll send a little note when requesting photos in Bucksville the one's I seek are in Bucksville cemetery, tuscalooa county.

I tell you the truth I never knew there was another B'sville in jefferson county.

Again thanks a million and God bless you all.

RE: Memorials
Two Bucksvilles,

I noticed that there were two bucksvilles after you mentioned it.
Mine is fully spelled out as Bucksville and located in Tuscaloosa county.

The young lady who created the other one which is abbreviated as B'ville has it located in Jefferson county in the city of birmingham.
Evidently she goes to many cemeteries takes pictures, then set's up memorials I suppose for people who may be looking for them.

She's got several of my family listed one that I already had set up William Raymond Shirley and and sister of my Grandfather Samuel Marvin Denton. She is Josephine Denton Vaught along side her husband Jesse and I believe their son.
I contacted her but she's never returned my inquiry. I would like to have everything merged into one cemetery, Bucksville and have owner ship of my family.
I'm at a loss.

Thanks for all you have done....Bless you

RE: Memorials
HI it's me once again.
While perusing the memorials you created I noticed that you did indeed have my grandfather's bother listed with his pic memorial.
I guess the question is:
Is this something that you can transfer to me for my family listings or do you prefer to keep mem's you create as you own.
to me it would be one more piece of the puzzle in the seemingly ending quest to find out where I came from and maybe where I might wind up, Ha!

Thank you....Buddy

RE: Memorials
Hi, can't tell you how much I appreciate the info. Sorry for being so late in responding but have been tied up for a few days.
I would like very much to have the other denton pics. I'm sure that ernest denton was my grandfather, (Samuel M Denton's brother which you sent me pics of. His full name was Ernest Floyd Denton, might be abbreviated on the marker though.
The other denton's i'll have to check on but I believe there is a link there to boot.
Grandad's sister Josephine is buried there also, but I think it's under her married name Vaught. They are both there and should read Jesse and Josephine Vaught.

Isn't this great stuff!

Thanks so much and God bless....Buddy
My email if it's easier for sending pics or communicating.

I'm actually at a loss for words of how much I appreciate this picture trove of headstones. It's been so many years since I've been there and of course then it really didn't make that much difference.
My how we change over the years and now I feels like these are pieces of gold.
Again I thank you for you efforts in fulfilling my request for the memorials of:

Ella, James, Pearl and Gladys Shirley. It even includes a bonus of William Raymond Shirley memorial.

Thanks ever so much and may God Bless & Keep You & Yours.
