Bio Photo My mother, Corine Carter began researching our family in the 1950's (Canoga Park) and I began helping her in 1973.

I am so very thankful for all of you who take photos and share them with everyone! Photos validate research and give it visual reality.I believe in sharing all photos, so feel free to use them.

This photo was taken steps from where we live at Sunset Beach, Oahu.

LINKS
I had a duplicate on my first link request. I have corrected my request below:

Will you link Mona Gill Preaus, Memorial 38120014, to her father, Alymer Conrad Gill, Memorial 112647468, and her mother, Almeda Rowland Gill, Memorial 112647457? Also, please link Mona Gill Preaus, Memorial 38120014, to her husband, Frederick Tidwell Preaus, Memorial 38119861. Also, Mona’s maiden name was Gill rather than Gillum. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Preaus

Robert Memorials
I notice that you have flowers on several of the Robert Memorials in Louisiana. Do you have any genealogy on these people? I am a Robert from NOLA but I do not show relatives by these names but suspect they may be related.

RE: duplicate
That I don't know. The markers do read Lowery although I am sure it was a misspelling. I would say it should be left up to a request from a Lowrey family member. I just bet that Ezemila's parents G.W. and Mary A. are two of those stones simply marked Lowery and are listed as infants.

RE: duplicate
There are two spellings for Lowrey(Lowery) and when you search under Lowrey you don't see the Lowery. I added a new memorial for Ezemila Lowery #142297731. She apparently had been overlooked. I included both spellings so that anyone searching would be able to find. I personally knew Mr. Allen Lowrey, he told me a lot of the history of the family . The family cemetery was moved to Bernice Cemetery in 1960 to make room for elementary school. I believe all the markers spelled Lowery were misspelled when they were reburied. I doubt all 5 markers for "Infant" were actually infants.
