You will need to get all the 'Family Links' with children and spouse in place before I will delete my George.
|S. J. Noel Kondek||RE: Step family|
I'm a descendant of George's sister, Margaret Stepp, who married Lazarus Noel. My source is the family history The Noel Tree, written by Charles A. Noel, and published in 1978, which includes a part of the Stepp/Step family. Chuck researched for years via letters and trips to Pa. to go thru old records back in the 1960s and the 1970s. Where he identified cemeteries, I'm adding what I can.
Chuck took the Stepp family back to John Barnett Stepp, born in Germany 1761/62; married Barbara Emerick (b 1765/66)in Germany; they had 5 children - Peter, Michael, Barnett, Sarah, John. They came to America about 1799 or 1800 to Philadelphia.
Tracing my ancestry, John's son Barnett Stepp was also born in Germany about 1795 to 1800; he came to America with his parents. He married Elizabeth Myers (b ~1799) about 1820. They had 6 children - George (your ancestor), Margaret (my gg grandmother), Eliza, Sarah, Mary Ann, Barnett.
I'm guessing we're very distant cousins. Nice to meet you.
Thank you for explaining the problem.
|Randy Peffer||Cemetery info|
I was wondering if you could help me with how to update a cemeteries information, ie; city. There is a cemetery- Camp Run in Beaver county, it states the cemetery is in Rochester, which is not true, it is in Fombell.

Hello Andrea, Thank you for the kind words! I am glad the photos look good. Usually I will send a quick note to the memorial owner, just to let them know that i added something to their page in case they have not yet seen the gravesite, or in case the photo is not a good fit. Thank you also for the work you are doing to document this history. diane
