|Linda K||Elizabeth Hoke decline|
"Elizabeth Mayer is erroneously mentioned in Elkhart County Indiana
personal genealogies and memoirs as wife of Henry Mellinger Hoke" per you
It would have been so much easier to believe you, if you had added this
to the memorial that I transferred to you & not asked for a transfer
simply to erase
Correcting a record is one thing, slashing & burning what you do not
like is another.
It is altogether pos that Elizabeth died in Elkhart Co & was buried here
On the other hand this Elizabeth could have died in Elkhart Co & is
buried there also
But with you erasing from my original memorial the short biography & who
I believed her to be so that you could make this memorial..
instead of changing the cemetery she was in is not right

I am wondering if you are related to the Kahlers? I see that you've created a lot of the memorials for them and that you are doing research, also.
If so, I would love to collaborate, if possible and you are willing!

Thank you for pointing out my error. I truly appreciate it.
|Edward Rowlance||Dora Snively Kahler|
I don't know anything about John Frank Kahler other than what is on Find A Grave. I'm sure you found Dora Snively Kahler's entry in Find A Grave buried next to Elizabeth Kahler. So your belief that Dora was one of John Frank's wives could be correct.

No I do not know, unless I have personal info or something from ancestry, I use exactly what is in the obit. I doubt that McMillin is her middle name, but that is what the obit says and could be a family name. I do not like to use hyphenated names because they can be missed in future searches.

Hi, not sure if you are trying to get all pics for one cemetery or not. There isn't a way to know on Find A Grave if someone is working on that project. I would like to see if you have done alot on Atwater Cemetery or if I could volunteer to get the rest of the pics as a summer project. Please let me know how much you know about Atwater cemetery and how many more would need pics added. Thank you

Men don't have maiden names. Please don't put the mother's maiden name in the maiden name space.
