My name is Jerri, and I live in Thurston Co., Washington. Genealogy has been my hobby for almost 40 years. I discovered Find A Grave during a recent project for the DAR, and what a great way to help other genealogists and researchers! This is a perfect opportunity for anyone to document those deteriorating tombstones in their area, as well as helping others who live too far away to do it themselves!
The project I helped with was tasked with locating and documenting the burial place of 767 very special DAR members, who were actually daughters of Revolutionary War Patriots. We found almost all of them, and they are grouped in virtual cemeteries by the state in which they were buried.

|Nancy Bushong||Field Family|
Hello my name is Nancy Bushong #47574882. I'm doing research for my daughter-in-law. I noticed you maintain a memorial for Richard Lorenzo Field. There is a lengthy list of his children. Could you please tell me where you got this list, example census records?
|Kelly Dunlap||Asenath Dunlap|
You did a great job on Asenath Dunlap McKaig. She had six children that I know of. Her mothers maiden name is unknown to my knowledge. Before Robert, My fourth great grandfather, she was married to Lewis Letts, buried somewhere in what is now Tompkins county, at time of burial it was Seneca County.
can you clearly see what the birthdate is for Etta Allen? Thanks!

Right you are - she was the second wife of all three husbands. Good catch and thanks so much!

Thank you so much for the transfer!
I have added a photo to Sarah Sisson that I took several years ago on my yearly visit. Each year I am pleased that her DAR emblem is still there, but worry from year to year. Again, thank you for your work with the DAR graves.

Hope you can transfer our gg grandmother Sarah Amelia Sylvester Sisson (39080420). We have visited the cemetery every year and there is a marker for her along with her husband George so I will place a photo. Thank you for your DAR work - especially for the real daughters - Sarah has a photo and article in the book about the real daughters.
|Rita Hagerty||DAR Real Dau|
Recently I found your link on Find A Grave and thought I'd check out the DAR entries. You are very dedicated in taking on this project. I saved you as one of my friends so that I can have quick reference when I want to look up any of the DAR Real Daus.
I created a memorial for Lucinda Anderson who is buried in Shiloh Cemetery which is located in Dubois Co., IN. I checked your IN Real Dau list and didn't find her. Then I checked all of the Real Dau list and didn't find her there either. She has a plaque IDing her as a Real Dau. Her memorial # is 75661959 in case you want to check it out and maybe include her in your master listing.

You are most welcome...Im trying to reconcile records from the guy who has kept them on 3x5 cards for years, an old moldy cemetery map, a boy scout project that while admirable and time consuming? Im pretty sure a lot of folks were/are missing...and a recently discovered old ledger of burial records for the cemetery. I will send edits as I find them..if you notice an accidental duplicate? Please let me know...Thanks, Stacey
