|Bio and Links|
I have been doing my family and my husband's family reaearch since 2008. I would love to hear from anyone who has connections. The surnames I am researching include, Bruman, Houck, Knoche, Lange, Grobbel, Dice, Howe, Seasons, and Collins. Locations include Detroit, Warren, Centerline, Lapeer, North Branch, Burnside, Five Lakes, and Kings Mill in Michigan, McLeod County in Minnesota, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and North Adams, Massachusetts.|
I have established many memorial pages as I learn the burial sites. If I have established a memorial page for someone who is dear to you, please let me know and I will do a transfer. I am not related to anyone in Tennessee, so I am willing to transfer any Tennessee memorials. Please make your request through the edit tab.
Although Find a Grave allows records such as death certificates or military documents to be uploaded on the memorial pages, I would prefer you not upload them if they are findable online. It is important to leave that space available for items like photos of the person and their marker. The information found on these documents can be summarized in the biography. It is nice to open a memorial and find a cemetery photo, marker photo, or even a personal picture. I feel like I am actually virtually visiting the final resting place.

I believe you left a message on Rev. James R. Rivard @ Assumption Grotto in Detroit, MI that you are related. I took a close up picture today. Just thought I'd mention it. If you'd like a full version, let me know. I'm new to Find a Grave.
"I discovered this duplicate to a memorial in Ewing Cemetery with a photo of the marker"
I moved the "original" memorial to the correct cemetery and asked that the dup be deleted. I also asked nicely that she move the picture to the original memorial.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I don't know how I got Catherine in the wrong cemetery since there was nothing listed on the DC. Thanks again.

I linked Peter to his father and then transferred him over to you. He is no relation to me. Hopefully you can add more info to his memorial as you find it.

I think you've done exactly the right thing--use the date from the marker and explain in the bio.
Thanks for everything.
Thank you for the links

Thank you for the transfer of James Grutzius' memorial. I appreciate all your efforts to findagrave.

Just wanted to say I've enjoyed every one of the photos your have taken. They are very legible, and crisp. You do a great job. I know how hard it is to get a decent one. Thanks, Jane

Are you sure we should change the date of birth on her memorial? The bio does show the corrected date, and the memorial has the date from the stone. I'm smack dab on the fence on this one.
Please give it a think and let me know which way to go.
