Bio and Links
Bio Photo A cemetery is not a place just to bury the dead. It should be a sacred place for quiet reflection, peace, tranquility, honor, and remembrance. It is a history of people and a perpetual record of yesterday.

Love begins with a smile...grows with a kiss...and ends with a teardrop....

I will not use chalk, shaving cream, or any other potentially harmful methods to enhance the inscriptions. Please do not use these on any photo requests I make, Thank You.

Although FINDAGRAVE can be very useful for genealogy, FINDAGRAVE as the name implies is a grave registration site NOT a genealogy site.

I will NOT add a link to a burial unknown memorial. This site is named Find a GRAVE for a reason. Not a difficult concept.

Please do not request to add a birth date calculated from the gravestone, unless the complete age is known or listed (y/m/d). Dates that do not agree with the gravestone will be placed in the bio section. Thank You.

David Northrup
Thank you for the transfer. I changed the spelling to match Hale. It is also spelled Northrup in the family genealogy. I tried to cover my tracks with a note on the memorial. Thank you again.

Green Lawn
George Boughton. No burial card found on microfilm. The obit has no burial location. The death record I believe did say Green Lawn. The cemetery has no record. Where to go from here??

Gary, Thanks for the photo. Gravestone is very hard to read but I appreciate your taking the photo. Too bad no one has maintained these old stones.

RE: David Boughton
Hi Gary,

The obit for David Boughton clearly shows 63. Checked for another, but this one was the only one I found (in GenealogyBank). Ages are often reported wrong, so if you feel there is a problem, you could always make a notation in the record.

RE: Renney
I put the real name in and move "renney" to nick name...her name is searchable in ALL Ct. records she's listed in. Renney, while what may be what the graver carved is nowhere in the records. I double checked to make sure it was her...thank god for

Her marraige lists her as Rena, the other Rany.
Thanks for all your hard work!
