|Carol Meeker||Roger Alling Gravesite|
Hi Mr. Sasso,
I was in New Haven two weeks ago and I went on my first tour of the Green area. I was able to find the plaque on the rear of the Center Church on the Green but unable to locate the grave of Roger Alling (of which you posted). I am guessing it may be located in the Grove Street Cemetery? I could not get there as there was still over a foot of snow on the ground.
I am still trying to figure out who all of my ancesters are who lived in New Haven Colony (because the list appears to keep expanding)
Do you have any information about where the actual bodies are buried? I saw a map and it appears to be the area located behind the present Center Church (park-like green. And would you happen to know where the original court proceedings took place in New Haven in the 1600s? Our great x8 grandfather was William Meeker (Meaker/Mecar) who was accused of witchcraft by one of the neighbors.

Thanks for taking and adding the gravesite photo for Samuel Baldwin at East Side Burying Ground.

It is my honor.

Do you mind if I add a picture of her gravestone to your memorial? I am doing a survey of Elm Grove Cemetery and recording each stone.

May I have your permission to download the photo of the gravestone of Roger and Mary (Nash) Alling? I would like to upload it into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your consideration.
