RE: Watson's at Kinser
The data for the memorial was generated by David Foster, Ron Baldwin and earlier versions of the Monroe County, Indiana cemetery books prepared by Claude Rice with the publications committee. WPA records were also referenced. In the case of the Kinser Cemetery the WPA records indicated the cemetery was in Monroe County instead of Lawrence County. Part of our Township duties are to provide care for township cemeteries. The error in counties was discovered during this process. The Data is still recorded and available in the Monroe County Records. For availability of complete burial listings for these cemeteries please go to Monroe County Historical Society Products and Services. The next door neighbor knows a great deal of history on the cemetery. I cannot recall his name at this time but just ask. He was very helpful when I was there. Let me know if you need any additional information. I will be more than happy to help. Tony Jeffries, Clear Creek Township Trustee's Office.

Brad,
I am working on an SAR application and need proof that Peter Stiffler is buried in Messiah Lutheran Church Cemetery. Or a photo of tombstone in that cemetery.

Hope you can help,

Old Obits
Brad - I have sent you several obits to post on memorials that have gone undone. Is your email that you have listed on the system correct? I have sent these edits thru the edit tab which generates an email to you. Mark McCrady and I are gathering and transcribing old obits - it is totally within the guidelines of find-a-grave to post obits especially if they are over 100 years old. And these are all sourced too. Some are VERY interesting and informative. Thank you.

George Mallow
First I want to thank you for adding the photos to the Mallow Cemetery in Johnson County, Indiana. George Mallow, Memorial # 5017578 is my 4th great Grandfather. I would also like your permission to use some of the photos you have posted to add to my family history project. I won't snatch any of them without your permission.
Thank you for your hard work.

Brad,

When you can go to his memorial 55799340. and check out the recreation photo I took for his memorial. It is really neat to see the photo from 115 plus years ago and today!

McClintock/McClintick
I wonder if you live near the Nay Tremain Cemetery in Johnson County, Indiana? If so, do you have any idea what the old tombstone for John McClintock said? My records, from another family member, indicate that this John McClintock is the father of Findley McClintock, and that when Findley's second wife died, Nancy Sumner McClintock, she was buried next to or near, or with Findley's father. Both John and Nancy died in 1850: John in February and Nancy in May. I cannot locate any tombstone or record for Nancy at the cemetery. Thanks for any information you can provide.

RE: Thomas B. Moore Cemetery
206th and 214th in Hortonville. It is private property and I wouldn't classify it as a cemetery. More like an open spot in the woods. It is quite a ways back from the main road. When I went there they let me go back to photograph all of the stones. They were tired of people being on their property all the time for photos. Good Luck.
