Hello, everyone! |
After adding quite a few memorials over the years, it was both an honor and a heartbreak to add one for my dear mother, Muriel Bernice "Bea "Abegg.
I just love this site. I'm one of our family historians I suppose, and the amazing amount of work the FindAGravers have done all over the world is priceless. Tell everyone you know about FindAGrave!
I'm happy to transfer ownership of memorials. Just click on the "add a correction" button. Feel free to e-mail me for help. :)
One of the memorials I added is on the list of unusual monuments: Dr. Fritz Abegg, buried with his wife Ella Fetz Abegg in New Jersey. They were my stepdad's grandparents, and we were surprised and pleased to see the monument on the list!
I've added records of many relatives to FindAGrave as well as some entries in McLouth Cemetery, the cemetery in my hometown of McLouth, Kansas. If there is any information you want to add or change, including photos, please let me know and I'd be very happy to help.
I hope the information I'm adding to this site is very helpful to you. Please take a moment to let me know if it has helped you in any way!

Please transfer Emmer Laster Thompson # 7797247 at McLouth Cemetery. I'll let you know if there are others later. Most of the Thompsons buried at McLouth are related to me. Ann

Dear Leslie - James Walter Thompson is my great uncle. You have very kindly created a Findagrave memorial for him numbered 7797238 at the McLouth Cemetery, McLouth, Kansas.
I have an obituary that I sent you previously to post for him, however, there have been no changes. If you are too busy to add this, would it be possible for you to transfer the same to me as I am a Findagrave contributor as well.
I also would appreciate it if you could add the names of the parents of James Walter Thompson who are also buried at the McLouth Cemetery:
Margaret M. McLain Thompson Memorial # 97405602
Andrew Jackson "Uncle Jack" Thompson # 97408124.
Ann Harris Humble # 47942841

Yes, I've ran across Fran's work! I'm excited to find more trails of living relatives. When I was younger, I'd ask my grandmother about my grandfather's family and she'd say he didn't have any that she knew of. Anyways, I'd love to know more about you all. I'm from Nashville, but currently live near Ft Bragg, NC, since my husband is in the Army.

Just wanted to share that there is a listing. I'm curious how you're related as she is my 4th Great Grandmother.

looking at the pictures you have I think some of those are badges from the boyscouts. I cam ask my father who was in scouts for years to be sure and what they are for if you want. teresa firstname.lastname@example.org

Leslie, I don't believe I am related to this George Burk but I found the newspaper article while search for my own Burks. He may be related to me but as of now I have not been able to connect him to my tree.
Leslie, I saw an old message you had left on a Giannini grave. All the information on the family of Antonio Giannini and Maria Modena, and the circumstances of their immigration and work here (and some family names in Italy) that we had collected through 1999 are in The Giannini's of Virginia, Third Edition (1999). Of course, much of that information would apply to their brother, your ancestor, as well. Here's the link to order, if you don't already have a copy.
We have a Giannini research list on yahoo (mostly inactive now) and a facebook (social) group as well. You'll find those links listed under my Find A Grave bio page.
