Hello: Thanks for all your beautiful work. I wondered where you found the story of Richard Blythe McCorckle and his freed slave Micah. I'm a descendant of his and my mother told a similar story, but we never really knew whether it was true or just suspect family lore.

Hello! I was wondering if you were related to the Salls family, and if not, would you mind transferring the Salls family memorials from St George's Anglican Cemetery over to me?

Thanks for reply. Unfortunately, no "box" for me to click on & get photo. Have also contacted crappy, who took photo of cemetery. If nothing else, will contact Find A Grave admin.

His memorial has lengthy description of marker. But there is no photo of the marker & apparently no way to request a photo of this unique marker. Can you help get a photo of the marker? Thanks.

Linked to his parents as per your request. Sorry for the delay!
Read her memo in the Bio.

Thanks so much James, and thanks for the info regarding the Cemetery in Clarenceville. I've encountered the removal of stones in that part of Quebec way more often than I care to remember, I'm not sure what the deal is but it has happened in Farnham and Lacolle as well. You have given me hope that someone at least transcribed them first!
