I have been the family history contact for our family since I was around 12-13 years old. I am now working on recording/documenting the sources of information I have.

I love recording history and find-a-grave allows me to connect families with their ancestors.

When not working on the family history projects I love photography and other art mediums. I work in the IT industry which allows me to learn new and improved ways to work on my genealogy.

Please feel free to use any headstone/grave photo that I have uploaded to find-a-grave in your personal collection, please do not use the photo for any commercial purposes without talking to me first.

If I manage one of your relatives I would be happy to transfer
their management to you as long as they are not in my family tree. If they are in my tree too, we will work something out, in the best interest of the memorial.

Thank you - and guess what? I noticed I sent the message to the wrong person and the manager did move him. I would be surprised if his stone can be found, though, as I've been to this old family cemetery twice. My husband is related to Timothy & Barna (father & son) who are buried there.

I noticed you have a photo request out there for Lafayette Bates where he is in the Bates Hill cemetery of Noble County. He is actually on the roster of the OLD BATES Cemetery, which is down the road from Bates's very old and hard to find. I'd asked the manager of his memorial if she would want to move him to the other cemetery and I wonder if the photo request will move with him?

Perhaps the next time I go it will be when the weeds are down and I will look harder.
