|David W Morgan||Harvey Hudgins - Mary Etta|
Mary Etta is not the wife of Harvey Hudgins. That is his aunt. Her name was Mary Etta Kunkel and she married Terry Hudgins 9 June 1912. He died in 1930. I believe you have a picture of his tombstone also. Mary Etta was born 10 Oct 1888 and died 26 Sep 1993, just as the tombstone says.
Harvey's wife was Verna Vay Bassett. She was my grandmother's sister. She died in 1992 and is buried in Erick Oklahoma. She was mentally incompetent when she died, and I guess the administrator of her estate decided to bury her where she was living when she died.
I was very confused when I saw this tombstone, and it took awhile to figure this out. I guess Harvey and Mary Etta's tombstone was ordered after Mary Etta died.
