Bio Photo My Find-a-Grave activity is only moderately curtailed by that essential 'nuisance' of "having to earn a living". I generally respond to queries, SACs and requests as soon as I can get a round tuit. Sincere apologies for all delays, and thank you for your patience. =]) Beth

A proud Canadian, I now live in the beautiful Province of British Columbia :D Locations of interest near my former home in Ontario include all of Simcoe County (which is about an hour north of Toronto), plus Ancaster (west Hamilton) and the (former) County of Wentworth, which are due west of Toronto.

Copyright courtesy requested! If you wish to use a photo that I have uploaded to a memorial here on Find-a-Grave, and post it to another website 'as yours', KINDLY ASK ME FIRST. In general, I don't mind if anyone uses my photos for their personal records, and I would hope my name would be included for the source file. But please, if you're going to post them to a FEE-BASED/SUBSCRIPTION website (including Ancestry, which as we all know ultimately profits from _everything_ contributed to their site), it would be nice if credit to the photographer (me) could be given within the posting. I don't know if other sites make this possible, but something such as: "Photograph taken by OhSunnyOne, Ancaster, Ont" would be appreciated.
Thank you for this consideration.

"If we don't grab this data, it's gone. Stones are face down, fallen over. Some that we can read now, we won't be able to read later. Counties just don't have the resources to restore every cemetery." --

Robert Haynes
Hi - I was at St Giles Church (Reading UK) today.

I spent some considerable time looking for Robert Haynes but alas, many of the graves are so weather-worn it's impossible to see who they belong to.

I also spoke to the vicar but he was unsure about records kept of the graves.

I'm happy to try again but just wanted to let you know it's proving quite a challenge!

Hi Beth
RE: # 81969242 Julienne "Julie" St. Denys Clement, Clarence Cemetery.

The cemetery in Clarence is (was) protestant and the only church in Clarence is a Baptist church, Ste-Félicité, is in Clarence Creek 10 km away.

I can go to Clarence Creek if you have more info, so that call would not be a bad idea and would save me ++ time.

ohSunnyOne, Hi Beth - # 81969242 Julienne "Julie" St. Denys Clement, Clarence Cemetery. A few years ago I photographed that cemetery and I did not find Julienne "Julie" St. Denys Clement. I will be returning next week to the Clarence Cemetery to get a family member.s stone. Do you know the plot number for Julienne and I will look for you.

Svp send the answer by Sep 17 as I will be leaving then.

Thanks Libby

RE: Thornes
Found some more Thornes and they are with Smith's and Irelands. Does that ring a bell? Will try to post them tomorrow.

Thank you so much, Beth! It is unlikely that I would ever make it to North Bay to take photos so your photos are much appreciated. I'm not sure how to do a transfer, but the number beside my name is #47990357. Is that what you need? Thanks, Kathryn
