I am a retired programmer, interested in Genealogy, Computers and Traveling. I live in the Detroit Area and will be more than happy to visit any cemetery and take a picture of a grave of interest. Any of the pictures or other information that I have posted to findagrave.com can be used by anyone for whatever volunteer purpose they would like. You may not use the pictures if they will be used for a make for profit purpose. Other than family members any memorials will be transferred to you if requested. I would prefer transferring the memorial to you than to add or make changes to the memorial. Also please give me a little time to transfer the memorials. Thanks |

|Joni King||Thomas Powelson's wives|
Thank you for adding Find A Grave postings for my 2nd great grandparents; Thomas Powelson #30246865 and his 2nd wife Sarah E. (Booz/Boos/Booze) Powelson #30246875 in the Evergreen Cemetery in Kossuth County, Iowa. His first wife was Martha (Warren) Powelson #122449910. Martha died in childbirth according to family history and is buried along with Thomas and Sarah's children in Riverside Cemetery in Washington County, Iowa. The 6 children buried there died from diphtheria according to family history. Some of the children died when they lived in Washington County and some died when the family lived in Kossuth County. According to family history from a great grand aunt the children that died in Kossuth County were brought to Riverside Cemetery in Washington County, Iowa to be buried and even the mother Sarah (Booz) Powelson helped dig the graves.
Could you update Thomas Powelson's information to reflect his 2 wives?
|Robert Brotherhood||James Hines|
As I searched Findagrave I noticed a doublé entry for James Hines, also as #106554908 with same photos. Could you please delete yours?
R. J. Brotherhood
I have a photo of gravestone of Nancy Matthew Elliot Edison (1810-1871)
My notes say:
Original submitted by Jack Vander Schrier memorial #14961277 at, http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=14961277
I cannot relocate the photo so that another Edison researcher can find it.
Has it been removed from the findagrave website?
