I live in Ooltewah, Tennessee and have been conducting genealogical research for about 40 years. I love visiting cemeteries, libraries, etc. I try to take good photos of monuments so I can add them to Find A Grave. |

Thank you so much for the headstone photos for Mary Ann Morgan Hogan. I appreciate them very much.
What a great job you have done documenting the Owsley family history. My husband is a descendant of John & Charity's daughter Anna. I have just begun looking at this line of his family and see you have done some great work with good sources. Thank you for your hard work--great website, too!

|Dana Lane Pflumm||Hello, Cousin! Family History|
Hello, Floyd. I am Dana Lane Pflumm, a direct descendant of Charity Barton and John Owsley. Or, maybe not, according to the DNA test some years ago by several members of the Owsley Historical Society. I may be descendant of Charity Barton Owsley, however, from my understanding, I am not one of that of her husband, John. I am curious if you have any information about this. My g-grandmother was Evolina Owsley Lane, who was married to George Washington Lane. Their son was Charles Edward Lane who was married to Mayme Mae Davis. They had my father, Edgar Dale Lane who was married to Arlene Frances Rens. Who had me. I reside in Shawnee Mission, KS, along with most of the members of my massive family. I would be thrilled if you wish to correspond. My email address is: email@example.com. I am also on Facebook. I would also like to become a member of the OFHS. Do you have any info on that? Hope your New Year was a happy one and am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
May I have your permission to repost your Find A Grave photos (with attribution) to my research site?
Thanks so much for the Lynnhurst photo. Lovely!

Could you give me the address of this cemetery?
|Louise Parker||Lynnhurst Cemetery|
Thanks for the picture of Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville (Fountain City) Tennessee. My husband's father, mother and nephew were buried there.
