My family history in addition to my passion for photography have always been an intrigue. |
At age 7, I lost my Dad and was relocated to another state; too far to visit my Dad's grave-site so you can imagine the overwhelming joy I experienced when I discovered a photo of his marker.
It all wouldn't have been possible without the Findagrave volunteers. It was then that I knew God had called me to hopefully provide the same joy.

|Myrna Lynn Oldham Lee||Sams connection|
My paternal great grandmother was Nanc Ladells Sams born in Lamar county Texas b. 1874. Her father was William T. Sams believed born in TN. In 1843and or 1848. His Mother was Nancy Sams but his father is listed as unknown. She remarried in Texas in 1856. I thought maybe he had another family and this lady could have been a daughter of a son or brother. However, William died before age 30to of unknown cause. Decendents died of cardiovascular disease at early ages so it is possible the father Sams did also.

For trying to fill the photo request for Cheryl Beckett. Thank you for letting me know, her grave is currently unmarked. Thank you too for your time and effort. You are very kind.

The cemetery entrance you show on this one is Woodlawn. Mickey is buried in Greenwood.
Just wanted you to know that JoAnne Ledford (living) has an attached stone to George. All four stones (George, Almon, JoAnne and Mary) are located next to one another. If you would like any other photos from the above names, please let me know.
The entrance to the cemetery has a small pond called swan lake that has had two swans for as long as I can remember.
The Ledfords are located in the south lawn next to the "garden of memories".

Yes please, I would like a pic, do you think she was remarried if it was under James?
