I am a history nerd who as always been drawn to those spooky old cemeteries. I stumbled across Find-A-Grave while doing family genealogy research and thought it would be great to help preserve history, even if only in digital images, as the elements and vandals take their toll on these old headstones. It's also pretty cool that I might be able to help someone else see some of their history and it's a great excuse to take a quiet walk outside in some very beautiful old cemeteries! I am a new "graver", but hope that my contributions to this site may be helpful to someone.|

I have numerous family buried there to include my mother & father Lee and Geneva Weaver. I was always told the cemetery was for the members and their descendants of the church that was there previous to its fire. As kids my brothers and I mowed the grass and filled many a sunken grave on a Saturdays. Feel free to explore all you like.

Hi fellow Graver,
Was wondering if you had any information on Middlebrook Cemetery. I was driving past it on my way home from work, never noticed it before since I rarely go that way. Wanted to go take some pictures there, see if I can possible get it completed. Was wondering if you know if it's private property or not? Hate to walk around on someone else's land or get arrested for trespassing.

I am researching my son-in-law's family "Berg" and was so excited to find the photos and information on J. Wilfrid Berg Sr. Thanks for your interest. L Onachila, email@example.com; Florida

Thank you so much for the excellent biography on E. C. I am the son of a Camp and am writing a book on the Camps. May I use your excellent writeup in my book? It is so well done, it would be foolish of me to try to compete. I have already removed my biography from the book hoping you will allow me to use yours. Thank you!

Glad to help. I wish the face of it was more readable. I don't think the front of the stone ever gets direct sunlight so it will always be hard to read.
