Find A Grave's primary purpose is a graves registration website|
If a listing or contribution corresponds with only the primary purpose, it has fulfilled its part of Find A Grave's mission and is not required to correspond with the secondary and tertiary purposes.
On all transfer requests, include your relationship to the deceased. I'll process them only if they fall within Find A Grave guidelines
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations.
This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Please state the exact relationship to the deceased when making a transfer request
And they are not part of my direct Pedigree line.
IF YOU ARE REQUESTING THAT INFORMATION BE ADDED OR CHANGED AND DO NOT PROVIDE A SOURCE THAT IS VERIFIABLE, I WILL NOT ADD IT!!!

|Sandy Prairie||RE: Charles Eugene Shafer 35716262|
My girlfriend is Sandy Shafer and she is married to Robert Shafer. Robert/Bob(Si)was the son of William. You both share the same grandmother. I just spoke to Sandy and she said you and he are cousins. She is excited. She would like to get your name and contact information. Sandy or Si will be in contact with you.
|Ashton Makerfield||Catharine J Sheaffer Myers|
With regard to the entry that you added for Catharine J Sheaffer Myers do you know how it came to be that she is linked to Josiah C. Albert buried in Dillsburg Cemetery?
Josiah is my wife's 2x-gr grandfather and I would like to know what the connection is to Catharine, if any.

Are you a relative? This little one is my girlfriend's husbands relative.
can this be noted on the his record? His name was Harold, but one of the grandparents made the arrangements & put the name Charles Eugene on the marker.
Thanks Find A Grave Contributor Sandy Prairie
|Dianne Stoddard||Catharine Eicholtz Witmor|
Hello, Thanks for getting back with me.
Catharine Witmor is my 2 gg grandmother.
I would like to be responsible for her memorial, but really don't know much about the responsibilities that go with that.
Would it then be possible to merge the two memorials that are identical?
Thanks so much, Dianne

EGE FAMILY BURIAL
I've started doing Find A Grave 10 months ago. Im in the process of gathering my husbands family line because of DAR. I will connect the Ege Family that you have. At this time, no one is attached to a family member.
I have 3 resources: Ege Family Line Book,newspaper clipping from 1961, Gettysbugh Times, and USGENWEB ARCHIEVES. This doesn't include my ancestry information.
Just an FYI about family connections.
I believe the wrong spouse is listed. Linked is a Katherine Peffer, but d/c shows married at time of death to Emma. Also, with only a year between deaths, they are buried in different cemeteries across the county. May want to look into this?
|Kimberly Reed||RE: Thanks!|
I think we may have corresponded once on email, but just in case, my mother's name is Gloria-Jean Carey (Reed, Cox) and my grandmother's name is Dorothy McCauslin (Carey).
|valerie knouse kooyker||re: Wayne Knouse|
I should add I suspect we might be related, (if you are Randall McCauslin) as my father's mother Tressie Mary McCaslin (McCauslin) was the daughter of Peter E McCaslin (McCauslin).

Thank you so much for taking the time to find and photograph my father's gravestone, which I have not seen since his funeral in 1973! It means a lot to me.

Newspaper reports the Thomas's retired for the night...
however, his wife Mary Ann Catherine Meals was reported to have died in 1896, 12 years before Jacob died. Who was his wife at the time of his death?
