Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am proud to say that I am a US Air Force Brat.

I am the youngest of six children. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

I am the father of 2 beautiful daughters named Ashley and Rachel and a awesome and handsome little grandson named Jacob.

I have very strong family roots in Vigo, Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion, Daviess, and Knox Counties, Indiana; Campbell Co., TN; Madison, Jackson, and Rockcastle Counties, KY.

My earliest ancestor in America was John Proctor who arrived in Jamestown Colony, VA in 1610 on the Sea Venture. It is also rumored that he was also arrived with the original settlers but returned to England and came back.

I am researching the surnames of Neice, Niece, Nice, Hayne(s), Hane(s), Haine(s), Ramey, Bryant, France, Balding, Bemis, Bullis, Smith, Eby, Payne, Yocum, Yocom, Mitchell, Wagle, Waggle, Buckles, Bicknell, Tallman, Knowlton, Miller, Cope, Proctor, Gadd, Neely, Goffang, Vernon, Creal, Mienheartt, Reynolds, Hill, Phillippe, Cooksey, Simrell, Kendall. Shaw, and Olgus.

If I have added your family member let me know so I can transfer them over to you. As I DO NOT believe in the transfer guidelines, if they are not related to you then why in the world would you want them unless you are a control freak. If they are related to me, then I will let you know and if I am willing to transfer them or not. I usually do unless they are close kin. Sometimes it comes down to who is a closer in relation. However, I am not willing to transfer my direct lines, sorry.

Almost everyone that I have added at Woodlawn Cemetery is of no-relation, so transferring is no problem.

Joyce Ann Paddock Hayne
Thank you Mark for submitting my cousin Joyce Ann Paddock Hayne's obituary. I was just getting ready to do that and had noticed that you had already done so, and you also linked her to her parents, too. It is much appreciated. Joyce also had three marriages, 1. Michael McConnaughey, 2. Frederick Edward Anderson, 3. Donald Lee Hayne (passed away in 14 Oct 2005, and he is also buried in Pleasant View Cemetery.
Sincerely Sandra Lee Elkins Juhl

Hi Mark! I just added a family photo to Mary Elizabeth Balding Miller # 23220772 Little Flock Cem. She is one of our mutual Balding relatives. I am her great-granddaughter.

You show the death date of April 12, 1908 and the interred date as February 2, 1908, which couldn't be correct if she died in April. Can you please double check your dates and make necessary corrections.

RE: Ann
Several years ago I found news articles about her that called her Baldy and that launched me on some serious researh only to discover she was a Baldridge, not a Baldy! I feel like I know her anyway.

Do you know if her tombstone still exists?

Bernard Rubsam photo request
You are receiving this message because you have submitted a photo request for the above named person(s). I wanted to let you know that I will be traveling to that area from Dallas during the first week of June and I would be able to get the requested photo(s) for you. I do need some help from you tho. While I am in the Chicago area, I intend to get as many names off the list for Evergreen Cemetery as possible. The list is growing every day and is now at 263 requests! Evergreen Cemetery is near and dear to my heart as I have several of my own family members there. If you would please call the cemetery office and obtain the burial plot locations and send them to me, I will for sure get them for you when I go there in June. If everyone could get me the locations I could really get a lot of requests done but I can't do it alone! The office number for Evergreen Cemetery is 708-422-9051. You can leave me a public message with the information, or you may email me at Please be sure to reference the requested names. Thank you!
