My father Don Barber died on 7/6/06 after a tremendous 3-year fight with lung cancer. Please leave some flowers for him here; I'd really appreciate it.|
Kara is the Visitor Services & Marketing Coordinator at the General Lew Wallace Study & Museum in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Kara has been a Lew Loyalist since 2004 and is currently learning all she can about the General's remarkable life and works that changed the world.
Kara is happily married with a daughter and a son and a home that used to be a mortuary.
I enjoy being able to fulfill photo requests for people who want to see where their loved ones rest but are unable to travel the distance. I take great care in grave photography so the memory of loved ones is given as much accuracy and respect as possible. I'm available for photo requests throughout much of Indiana, especially west, central, and northwestern areas.
And if you haven't yet, take a few moments to read Thanatopsis by William Cullen Bryant. It helps to put all of this "life" stuff into the proper perspective.

Thank you for the photo for Thomas. Can you post this on his wife's memorial page? (Minerva Slavens)
Thanks so much for the Stoddard headstone photos. I appreciate your time and assistance.

Thanks so much for the photo of Sarah Hauk and Elizabeth Baldwin's markers. They are greatly appreciated.

My sincere thanks for the photo, I had gotten a picture of his wife's headstone (Barbary) and a message from the picture taker that the stone next to hers was down and in a position not to take a picture. It appears that the stone has been moved.
Again thanks for the photo and have a great week.
