Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for many years. One of my favorite things in researching is visiting cemeteries. I love to just walk around the tombstones and try to imagine what the people's lives might have been like. I have been contributing tombstone pictures to this site to help fellow genealogists that are a distance away that can't visit their relative's gravesite in person.

My family has been a big assistance to me in my project for this website. My son, Trenton, my daughter, Alena, and my husband, Terry, have helped me take tombstone photos. So a big "THANKS" goes out to all three of them!!

Quote from Findagrave: "The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. THE ULTIMATE GOAL SHOULD BE TO HAVE MEANINGFUL, ACCURATE MEMORIALS THAT HONOR THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED AWAY, REGARDLESS OF WHO CREATED THE MEMORIAL OR WHO MAINTAINS IT." Please keep this in mind when you request a transfer as it takes a lot of time and money to do research to add memorials to this site. I love working on this site, but I have run into some problems just recently.

I DO WELCOME ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS AND FAMILY LINKS. The more information the better!! I usually get the updates done within 1 or 2 days.

Doing some research, I happened to find a relative on Find A Grave at Riverside Cemetery in Indiana. Could I use your pics for family tree? Photo courtesy give. Thanks so much. I enjoy the work, too.

I just wanted to say thank you for creating the memorial for my 3rd great grandfather Isaac C. Allen. I found a lot of useful information to help me with my family tree.
It is much appreciated.

Dennis Reed
birth date
Greetings Lesa - Joseph B. Meneley, Sr. is my 4th great grandfather. From the inscription on his tomb stone, it is calculated that his birthday would have been June 17, 1782. I have notified you of this thru the Edit feature of the memorial.

Are you a relative of the Meneley's?
Sincerely,
Dennis Reed

Warren Co. IN, Hooker Cemetery
Hi Lesa,
I've submitted several changes this morning, adding parents and such for people mostly buried in Jones Cemetery in Hookers Corner (heck of a corner to be buried in! ;-)

I read your page and I'm wondering if you've photographed stones in that cemetery?
Thanks!
Michelle

HIBBS CEMETERY
I notice there are two Hibbs cemeteries. I know our STEWARDS are in the one but where is the second one? I see you have added headstone pics to the other one. Is there another name for it or is it really also a Hibbs in the same county? Thanks

John Stephens of Fountain County
Hello,

I am very interested in the memorial for John Stephens, died 1866 in Fountain County, Indiana. You say on the memorial that he was born in Ohio in 1816. I think that means he is my gg grandfather. Can you please tell me where you got the birth date and place?

Thanks

Memorial# 82851325
Lesa,

On Memorial# 82851325 for John Mellott you mention that the information was from a transcript and that no tombstone was located in the cemetery. I am wondering if the transcript is hard to read and if the dates are possibly 1829 and 1872 instead of the 1839 and 1877 listed. If you still have a copy of that transcript it would be greatly appreciated if you can double check and also please let me know if it contains any other information.

Thank you,
Denny
