Joseph Blake was married to my great-grandfather's sister Mary Elizabeth Staggs after both of their spouses died. Joseph is buried with his first wife in Blake Cemetery and Mary is buried at New Discovery with her first husband and son. I probably have some other Blake ties also.

Thank you so much.

Thank you for your corrections. I try to proof read all memorials but this one must have got by me. The Rockville Library has indexed her obituary as appearing in The Parke County Sentinel on December 2, 1985. The United States Social Security Death Index lists her Last Place of Residence Hendricks, Indiana. I have removed place of death. Referencing the Barnes Mortuary Records - there is no Parke County Hospital. If you have more definite information please let me know.

You're welcome Lynn. I don't know if you're aware of it, but right next to Wesley and Aretta's grave is Clara Victoria (Youngman) Green. I think they are related since they are buried next to each other and they both used the same type of stone for their gravestones.

Thanks Lynn. I would appreciate any pictures stories, etc, you would like to share.
I transferred Ruby's site to you.
As for, Julie, I was quite young when she passed. My main memory of her was her sitting in the doorway on a rolling chair. But many fond memories of Grandpa Ray, like the 7-up, as well as chip ahoy cookies, which he never seemed to run out of. :)

I had assumed it was a typo. I think it was probably suppose to say Mitt and not Matt.
I am related to Ruby through marriage. Her daughters, Betty and Myrtle are my half-aunts, so to speak. Their half brother, Kenneth William LeHew is my grandfather.
If you would like me to transfer Ruby to you, I can.
