"The richness of life lies in memories we have forgotten." -- Cesare Pavese|
I love visiting cemeteries, ever since I can remember. Sometimes when I visit a cemetery and gaze over the area, I'm awe-struck by the number of souls who have walked this soil before me. Sometimes when I visit, I'm confronted by a dog who wants my lunch and when given it, becomes my friend for life. And sometimes when I visit a cemetery, I feel like I'm apartment hunting.
Forgive me if I make memorial errors or procedural mistakes. Please let me know of my errors and I'll gladly correct them. I'm just an old lady who's trying her best.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion...

|Penny Peeters||Bayless - Williamson|
I contacted you just afew months back and I was looking for the gentleman, Shawn, who posted the picture of Phebe D. Bayless - Williamson on find a grave.
She is the wife of Edward T. Williamson.
Henderson Cemetery, Illinois.
Shawn's number is 47375218.
You said to google Phebe and I did but didn't have any luck with finding out who Shawn is and how he got Phebe's picture.
I would appreciate any help I can get. I have looked forever for this lady. She is my great great grandmother.
Thank you so much.

Just wondering if you may have come across any other "Landon" markers near to William Frederick's? I am still trying to locate his father's marker. His name was Thomas A Jefferson Landon

|Mary Martin Bentley||RE: Infant Son Morningstar and Lewis A. Morningstar|
It is very sad. There were so many Morningstar infant deaths. One of the memorial pages for an infant son of John Ernest and Ada Morningstar had an obit for him that said he died after 12 days from meningitis.
I read your bio and like you, I find walking through cemeteries very comforting. I have only recently begun my family research, and I'm amazed at the information I have learned about my ancestors. I only wish I had been able to ask all the questions I now have when some of these people were still living.
Thank you so much for going to the Linebaugh Cemetery to take the photos of the headstones of my family members Andrew Jackson Ralston, Nancy Ralstone, Christopher Ralston, Ossian Ralston and Alta Cora Ralston. I greatly appreciate your courtesy and kindness!
|Mary Martin Bentley||Infant Son Morningstar and Lewis A. Morningstar|
Thank you for posting the photos I requested for the Infant Son Morningstar and young son, Lewis Morningstar. It always makes me sad to see the graves of infants and how sad the parents had to be to lose their children.
I truly appreciate your time and effort to help me add to my family history.
