Bio and Links
I am trying to help people with their family history.
I will continue to list a new memorial so people can find it when the first and last names are totally different than Green Hills shows.

To the wonderful, nice people on findagrave, I will gladly add dates, relationships, plot and grave, etc., just let me know.

If you want a transfer, please include your findagrave contributor number and the relationship (she's my aunt, neighbor, friend. For the last 2, indicate how long you've known them.)

If I'm not related, or you're a closer relative or I have known them a shorter time, I will transfer.

I'm in the process of adding a source to the Fredericksburg National Cemetery monuments. Until I finish, it's listed in the book Civil War Burials Fredericksburg Virginia, compiled and edited by Maude E. Mercer Sellman 1979.

I walked Green Hills for exercise, sometimes forgot the broom to sweep the stones. If you need a better picture, request a photo from a volunteer.

I don't use my real name cuz of a toxic couple on findagrave! I believe they are inactive now!

Happy ancestor hunting!

Alex Smith in Inglewood Park Cemetery
My grandparents, Alex and Esther Smith, are buried in one plot at Inglewood Park Cemetery. I found that you made a memorial for an Alex Smith (Find A Grave Memorial #115824768) but no birth or death dates are mentioned so I'm not sure if it is of my grandfather or someone else with the same name. My Alex Smith was b. 1885 and d. 1952. His wife Esther Smith was b. 1888 and d. 1966. They share the same headstone. Is Memorial #115824768 my Alex Smith? Thank you for your help. --Julie Winn Zapf (Contributor #48640198).

Duplicate memorials
Hi
Please do not add any more memorials to the Wilmington Cemetery. You added one very recenly, May 2015. It will most likely be a duplicate. You should know that the Wilmington Cemetery is complete.

RE: Marion Walsh
Yes, scanned obits aren't supposed to be put in, and when you use the Virtual Flowers to tell everyone "her picture and obit are in the Daily Breeze . . " I do feel it is unnecessary. Virtual Flowers are to be used for condolences and in memory of the dead. But when you ask for links, that is a different matter. The memorials of both persons you are asking me to link her to have no information on them. It is not possible to be sure that they are her parents.

Requests for links are best requested by people who are related. That way there is no doubt. I know that anyone can request them, but why get involved with links for people you aren't related to, unless you are quite sure it is correct.

I am not trying to be difficult. I just don't see the point, especially on such a recent burial.

Greetings -

Please be so kind as to post my comments regarding a possible error in the middle initial of this party's name to the memorial, itself.

I am reaching out to the NPS in the hopes of achieving a resolution. Having my comments/research posted should make it easier to communicate the issue.

Thank you very much,

Photo removal request
Would you be so kind as to remove your headstone photo from memorial #48934013? We are in the process of replacing this headstone. Also there are 3 photos of it and would like room to post more family pics. Thank you :)

Charles F Whitehead, Find A Grave Memorial# 22666726
I am still searching for his wife, Florence Whitehead (b. abt 1852, died before 1910, maiden name unknown). Is she buried in his vicinity? Their children were Belle, Ernest, Lola, and Moary in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri (U.S, Federal Census shows Belle in 1870, others in 1880). Any assistance appreciated!
