UPDATED FOR NOVEMBER, 2014:|
"Life is the childhood...of our Immortality." - Goethe
I want to thank everybody who continues to visit my many pages while I am offline; I also want to thank my site friends who have specifically come back online for now to keep my pages tokened and visited. It is greatly, greatly appreciated!
I will be adding new highlighted names asap, but please note that I may only be online for a couple of days a month through the winter season; we are moved and trying to get back to normal life, but there continues to be pretty heavy health issues which keep me from checking in routinely. =( Please know that you are all in Gannon's and my hearts, and I sure hope that we'll soon be back to the simple hi and hello messaging that I look forward to so much. In the meantime, please remember that many of my virtual cemeteries only have a few names and would be a great page to look up for names and stories - for instance, my "Attention - End Watch" has only three names in it right now. Two of these police officers are father and son, both killed in the line of duty and oddly enough, killed exactly 26 years apart from one another, to the day.
Hugs, hugs, hugs - and leave messages, because I will try to check in!
A police officer friend who knows I have been following this nation-wide search and case called me today with news about this officer's killer: "They got him." Please stop and thank this HERO for his courage, service and sacrifice:
Corporal Bryon Keith Dickson II
This young man has a BIRTHDAY on November 19th:
Josias 'Joey' Moore
This lovely lady needs more visits and tokens, please:
Rita A. Bane
This firefighter was taken from us too soon:
A THOUGHT ABOUT SPONSORSHIPS: Please do not feel hopeless when trying to make it through the sponsorship listings! There are days when I can only visit a couple, myself...and I am continuing to work at separating them - for instance, you can already see 'Attention: Sponsored Children' and 'Attention: Sponsored Military Men and Women'...and I will continue to 'compartmentalize' names and circumstances, so that you will be able to go right to names which interest you. =)And, as always, THANK YOU for visiting our pages - every single token and word of prayer is so appreciated.
I was asked to keep the link up to my brother Ron's page; THANK YOU for all of your thoughts and prayers for my family members. =) I just put a poem of mine on Ron's page that will tell a bit more about my brother's short time here, if you'd like to read it - it's - as Ron would have said - the cold as Chicago winter wind truth, and he was very brave to live through everything he did. Here is Ron's link:
Ronald Lucien 'Ron' Poynter, Jr.
Bio: My son Gannon and I live outside Los Angeles, but we are from Chicago/Jersey/New York; we have traveled extensively in our lives and are only off the road for now due to medical issues - but I sure hope to be able to hit the road again, someday. =) I am widowed, and I write for a living; I am very lucky to be able to work at home and therefore be with Gannon 24/7; he is seriously physically and mentally disabled, and most of my friends on here already know how I feel about Gannon...If I leave anything behind that is good, it will be because Gannon made me a better person. It is an honor to be his mother. We are interested in charity work and support Wounded Warriors, Make A Wish, Toys for Tots, The Huntington's Disease Foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation; all programs for poverty and below poverty level families in America; Feed America, Books For Inmates, and more. We also have a soft spot for animal welfare programs, and sincerely believe the quote that "If you want to know a man's true character, study how he treats an animal." Lastly, I hope that my work on here will answer questions, bring reunions and pay tribute to those gone, but not forgotten.
"Pray for the dead, and fight like hell for the living." - MOTHER JONES

|Libby Duckworth||RE: William Hunt|
Rhonda, I am sorry that I misunderstood your message. I thought you were referring to a different photo of an ancestor from a different line. Yes I believe that this is a picture of William Hunt and Luella Hunt Payne. I am a Hunt by birth myself. My dad had a photo of the original photo and I had it repaired at Walgreens so it is a photo of a photo of a photo. Lol. So I don't know how accurate it is but I tried. Anyway best wishes, Libby Hunt Lane

Hi Rhonda, I hope this finds you well. I just figured out how to respond to your message. This is a photo of Roy William Kinsel and his second wife Lillie Rose Kinsel and my grandmother Carrie . Edith Green Lewis. He died in Peoria Illinois but was returned to Sullivan Illinois for burial. I know he died at a pretty old age and I remember he had senility. I am not aware of any other health conditions.

Saw your name on Larry Moore's page (Joey's dad). Having followed Joey's journey for a while, I was letting his dad know that I had asked my friends to visit Joey for his birthday!
I hope you and your son have a very nice Thanksgiving! God bless and keep you both!
I was in a hospital 4-5 days. Had a seizure while my meds changed.

Your token for Traci Fields
Beth, thank you so much for the token you left for Traci. It is VERY MUCH appreciated. I've been letting all my relatives (which aren't very many) know that I'm trying to get to 5,000 tokens for Traci by her birthday and yours helps in that count.
Thank you again.
Sharon (Traci's mom)
Traci's birthday is 20 Nov...Beth
