Thanks for the updates. All the info I can get, is very much appreciated . I love working with Find A Grave, and the more info I have on memorial, helps someone find what they are looking for.

Verner Family Cemetery
I see that you posted a newer picture (July 18) on F.A.G. for the Verner Family Cemetery - were you able to locate John Verner Jr.'s grave?

I am planning on another trip in the coming weeks and would like to know the exact location so that I can document and let other relatives know his burial location.

I am pretty sure it is fairly close to the Old Retreat Church or Retreat Presbyterian Church on South Retreat Road but its exact location and directions would be great - I read that it is private property.

Can you provide GPS coordinates or turn by turn directions?

Thank you.

Hi Bob: Am working on locating Thomas, he seems to be very evasive, but I will find him. Please forward what you may have on Mary and children. I assume they are in Old City Cemetery/Evergreen. It is all called Evergreen now. If there is anything you need in McLean County, just let me know. I love the chase! Your buddy in IL. Nancy

robert i sure hope we can figure this mess out it giving me more grey hair and i already had to many.

at 70 years old i do not have many more years left to finish compiling all i have gathered in the 50 years i have been at this work

i have over 20 books and they are 4 inch binder full of entrys of out family and married in familys .

i have expanded from the family book many times over now i am trying to get this all put on my site

how can i connect you to my site so i can send you an invitation

i have gotten only 2000 entrys in so far but still plugging along

amos reynolds

i am so confused right now i went to the one source i have for information the lds church site i am mormon so that has always been my source when i have a problem

well i found amos alright 1 submission made in 2012 says his father is john reynold and rachel john ok thats one form my side

now i found what i believe is your submission i think in 1999 saying william and rebecca harris reynolds with williams father listed as joh and rachel john reynolds

now i am at the hair pulling stage

i went to my cousin who belongs to the DAR and was a secritary for her local chapter she is pulling the dar records listed in the family book waiting back from her

she also goes by the john and rachel parents so i do not know any more what to believe any more

i have been working on the reynolds family for over 50 years and never been faced with this kind of problem

RE: amos reynolds
robert i found rebecca harris and found william 's father as james reynolds and his father as william redynolds and elizabeth amoses father as john reynolds and sophia houch back to william and elizabeth mossom they both lead back to the same ancester this has my head reeling i have worked with his family book for 50 plus years and never had a problem when did this tillman book come out?and do i have this book you are talking about.i know this book has been in the family at least 60 plus years it was my grandmothers book so before the 60 years i have no idea how much older it is before i first saw it.your cousin sandy
