Bio and Links
Bio Photo I primarily cover cemeteries in Hampshire and Franklin Counties, though I have also done extensive work in and around Boston.

My focus is on pre-1800 stones, Revolutionary War veterans and Civil War veterans. I also snap any Dickinsons I come across, since those Dickinsons seem to be really into this.

MY PHOTOGRAPHS MAY NOT BE RE-POSTED OR REPRODUCED ON THIS SITE, ANY OTHER WEBSITE, OR IN ANY OTHER FORM OF MEDIA WITHOUT MY EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION!

PER FIND A GRAVE'S POLICY, PLEASE NOTE THAT "TRANSFER REQUESTS SHOULD BE FOR DIRECT RELATIVES WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS, THIS WOULD BE YOUR SIBLINGS, PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS AND GREAT-GRANDPARENTS."

I don't mind being contacted with a specific question about one individual, but please don't contact me with open-ended questions about an entire family line. I receive an average of two such emails per week, and since I have a busy work life, I simply do not have the time to type out entire branches of my family tree over and over. Please refer to rootsweb.com and/or ancestry.com which is where I got most if not all of the information. I HAVE NOT POSTED AND WILL NEVER POST MY OWN FAMILY'S PERSONAL TREE ON THE INTERNET, SO THERE IS NO MAGIC LINK TO A MASTER FAMILY TREE THAT I CAN PROVIDE.

William Ward
You have on William's memorial that his wife was Mary Cole.
William Ward and Mary Smith filed their intention to marry on 22 March, 1742. Book 2, page 46 of the Tan Books, Springfield Marriages.
Mary was the daughter of Benjamin Smith and Mary Bedortha.
I have seen Mary listed as Mary Smith Cole on various websites, but found no proof she had a prior marriage. If she had, she would have been recorded as Mary Cole, widow of...... or even Mary Smith, widow of ? Cole, on her marriage to William.
Thank you, Nancy

Arnald or Arnold?
You appear to have more information about Sam Arnald/Arnold buried at Hancock Cemetery in Quincy, MA than that which appears on the gravestone. I created a memorial with the surname spelled as it appears on the gravestone 111338818. If you are confident of the spelling, I will switch the memorial I created so that it refers to the one you created since you posted yours first.

Tweaked Photos
Hi Moo,
I tweaked all 3 of the photos of Elizabeth Williams Cutter's headstone. Since you don't do email, I went ahead and posted 2 of them. I have a tweaked version of the third, but couldn't post it because of the limit. Please feel free to delete them if you don't like them.
Elizabeth's 10th great granddaughter,

May I have your permission to add the photo of this tombstone to my Ancestry tree? I would, of course, give you the credit for the photo. I also have come across many other photos that you have taken, but have never written before to ask your permission to use them. If I give you the credit, may I use any of your photos on my Ancestry trees or would you prefer me to ask each time? Thanks!

I'd like to ask permission to use your photograph of Sarah's gravestone at a public talk on "The Moores of Erving, Mass." at the Erving Public Library on the 27th of March.

Thanks so much for your additions to this site.

Regards,
