RE: Re: Virginia G Dickson Townsend
Ok. I wasn't really thinking about that but it probably would be easier. Will try that.

Happy Holidays!

Virginia G Dickson Townsend
I believe that Virginia Goss Dickson Townsend's, 80706977, parents were David Madison Dickson, Sr. and Mary Ann Goss.

Can we confirm?

Shock Adams
Thank you so much for the memorial for Uncle Shock Adams! You have just made my day! The entire Adams family appreciates your kindness. I have just emailed an elderly cousin to show her the memorial page. She was our original family historian who also had been looking for Uncle Shock's burial location. MERRY CHRISTMAS! - Randy Rowe

RE: Re: Herman Goebel
Susann, that is strange, and Madora's grave records in the USA are 'Donald' not O'Donnell. Also, Jacob apparently used 'George' name also in Germany. I will follow all names down again. I am going to email London records on Madora Donald, or O'Donnell and see what comes up. Wonderful work, let me know if you find anything lse, :)

RE: Herman Goebel
Hi Susann, actually her name was Madora Donald, not O'Donald. She also went by MacDonald, as of the Clan Donald. She was said to have been from Edinburgh Scotland, all the family said so, that is why the London confused me. But I should check out her birth in London anyway.

RE: Herman Goebel
Also, love to access Madora Donald's records, and find out who her parents were and carry it back with research too.

Thomas :)

RE: Herman Goebel
Susann, thank you so much. Actually Herman's middle name was Alfred. On Madora, she may have been from Scottish parents, she was said to have been from the Clan Donald and of Scottish nobility. I would really like to find information on her parents. With Herman, his father's name was George Goebel, and have papers somewhere on it. they all resided at Schloss Charlottenburg with Konig Frederich Willhelm's family of Prussia and said to have been of French nobility, refugees from the French revolution of 1789. 2 generations resided at the castle in Prussia until Herman and his brothers Henry and another one came to first Mobile, Alabama from Prussia and had their lives threatened, then entered into New Orleans and no entry records, but this is where Herman married his first wife Amelie Sontag. I will get you more information soon.
