Bio and Links
Bio Photo Family research has been a part of my life for over 30 years. I do volunteer work at the LDS Family History Center located in my neighborhood even though I am not Mormon. I call myself the gentile librarian. I live on the west side of Houston in Katy. I was born in Waco, Texas and go there every few months to be with family. Many of my family members are buried in the Robinson Cemetery south of Waco going back to my great-great-grandmother. Growing up in Robinson, a farming community at the time, was a wonderful experience.

At the age of fifteen my parents and I moved to Texarkana, Texas. I completed high school and junior college in Texarkana. While attending UT my parents moved back to Robinson. I did six months of active duty in the Marine Corps and five and a half years in the reserve program. After completing the six months active duty, I moved to Houston, TX to seek my fortune. I would have to say my wife, children and grandchildren are my fortune. I am happily married and retired and have eight grandchildren which add joy to my life. If you think I can help you, feel free to contact me.

If you have any corrections or additions to a memorial, please let me know. If you would like for me to transfer a memorial, please let me know.

Bert Kelso
Thank you very much for finding Bert Kelso's grave. He was my husband's uncle and died a young man.
All these years, I thought he was buried in Indiana or Ohio.
My mother in law, Flossie Hottle from Lufkin was to marry Bert , but he passed away and she married his brother Emery Kelso. They had 5 children and I was married to Emery Jr. for over
60 years but they are all dead now, including my husband.
All this time,I had thought that Flossie had gone north and met the Kelsos up there and then returned to Houston. But evidently, the Kelso family moved down here and she met him here.

My daughter and I are looking forward to going to see Bert's grave on May 1st. We really do appreciate finding out this information.

RE: Jeanette Holloway
I did a retake of Moses Holloway's stone. I am not sure it is much better than the other post. Please let me know if you would like me to remove it. Most of the lettering is gone from the bottom half. Teresa

I found your research on Sarah. I have a small Bible that belonged to her in 1866. It is inscribed to her from her husband. I need help trying to find a family member to give it to. Thanks for any help!

RE: Jeanette Holloway
You are very welcome. I will try and get a better photo of Moses Holloway, too. His stone is white and very difficult to read. I will do my best.

RE: Carl & Olive Allstrom

My great-grandparents, Carl and Olive Allstrom, are buried in Graceland Cemetery, in Chicago, Illinois. I guess I will contact them and find out if there is someone there who can take a picture of the grave of Olive Allstrom.

Ok, so I'm wondering if you live nearby and could go take a picture? Or know of someone else who would be willing to do it? I'd kinda like to have both their pictures together....I have relatives to show them to.

RE: Carl & Olive Allstrom

I found this message from you from back in February 2015. I was sent a picture of Carl Allstrom (my great grandfather) but still have not received a photo of the grave of Olive Allstrom. Do you know why? It's July now.

Robert. You have the memorial above. I have the memorial 69466907 for the same person with no place of burial. Could you combine my information into your memorial. Then let me know and I'll erase mine. One of her closer relatives let me know where she was buried, and I saw you already had entered a memorial for her. Linda B 47272982

RE: Helen L Moore
Thanks for noticing that two names were on the memorial for Viola Hornbeck (#46085403) at Bethel Hill. I've posted the photo on Helen L. Moore's memorial (#49933969), so you can delete the duplicate when you have time. Cheers, Kay
