Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy indexing cemeteries.

I have indexed the Heards Prairie-Petteway Cemetery in Robertson Co., Texas. This is our family cemetery. I am the historian for this cemetery. Any updates, obituaries, and or corrections would be appreciated.

I have newspaper articles for the Franklin News Weekly from 1970 to present and The Bremond Press from 1997 to present.

I am trying to catalog the obituaries by the cemetery. If you have any obituaries before 1970, please let me know.

Please do not ask me to transfer a memorial if it doesn't fall within the FOUR GENERATION GUIDELINE. I am not transferring any of the families from the cemetery at the moment.

The family lines that I am looking for are:
Jones, Johnson, Jenkins, Joyce, Brantner, Brown, Yates, Ahern, Dickens, Bailey, Martin to name a few.

Thank you,
gerrie

RE: Thank you!
You are welcome.

I was searching Oct 7th & 8th 1970 newspapers for a veteran's obit and saw numerous obits. Tonight I've completed adding all of them.

Always more than willing to help with photos and obits. A hobby of mine is going through old San Angelo newspapers (1884 to present) and locating obits for folks.

July 8, 1920 – October 31, 2012

Georgia Supak Bedre of Bremond, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at the age of 92. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. on Monday, November 5, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bremond. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Job Yezak Weatherly, Kie Yezak, Jackson Yezak, Todd Yezak, Jacob Yezak and Paul Ray.

She was born on July 8, 1920 in Dime Box, Texas, the daughter of Thomas and Louise Teska Supak. She grew up in Brazos and Robertson counties and attended rural schools.

As a young woman, she married Jack Bedre of Palestine, Texas, who was a soldier during World War II. After his return from two years in the European theater, they made their home in Palestine. He died in 1983.

She lived in Palestine 40 years and some 20 years in Bremond. She worked as a sales clerk for a number of years. Mrs. Bedre was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bremond.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Louise Akins and Margaret Supak; and two brothers, Joe Supak and Frank Supak.

Aunt Georgia warmed many people's lives with her cooking, hand-made quilts, quick wit and the love and respect she showed to all of those around her. Other favorite pastimes included winning at dominoes and growing flowers.

Through the years she served as an election clerk for several elections in Bremond. On October 28, she proudly cast her absentee ballot in the General Election, which included the 2012 Presidential race.

Survivors include one sister, Betty Yezak of Bremond; numerous nieces and nephews, including Pauline Kominczak of Brenham, Ada Lindquist of Sonora, Calif., Tom Supak of Arlington, Dr. Allan Supak of Livingston, Montana, Albert Supak, also of Livingston, Pat Weatherly of Ferris, Robert Yezak and his wife Michelle and George Yezak, all of Bremond, and Jennifer Yezak of Arlington, Virginia. She is also survived by numerous grand-nieces, grand-nephews and other relatives.
