Bio and Links
Bio Photo We work as a team: Russian-Danish family living in London. After a few years in the Middle East, we have now moved to our next adventure in China. County-keepers for England. Being long-term expats, we are very interested in all Russians and Danes who found their last resting place away from their home countries. We will be grateful for any comments, advice and links to memorials. Thanks to this wonderful website we have found many friends all over the world and the amount of mails we receive increase all the time. We appreciate all the mails and ALWAYS reply but sometimes it takes longer than we would like to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We prefer to get your questions and corrections through e-mail (use the EDIT tab in the memorial). Please include your own e-mail in case we need to write back to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You did an excellent biography on her but I might suggest having Findagrave modify it to include something relative to this:

In 1990, she was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her work with the "Not Forgotten Association", a charity for disabled former U. K. military personnel.

RE: Macpherson
I have a question - how do I get these photos posted to Ancestry and Family Search from FindaGrave?

RE: Macpherson
Many, many thanks for the work you do. I have been searching this ancestor's family for years & now I have another of their son's name who is Arthur Davidovich (David) too - thanks to you.

Ann Elizabeth Macpherson, nee Hutty was my great-aunt - my great-grandfather's (Frederick Hutty) sister. She married David Macpherson (born 1842) in August of 1865 in Beverley, East Yorkshire, England & then he was a sent back (he was in the British Consulate)to St. Petersburg (where he was born in the British Chaplaincy). There they have five children & so far I have only found 3 of them including Arthur.

David's parents may be buried near there too - Murdoch and Julia Macpherson who were also British (of course).

I am the genealogist in the Hutty family & all my sources are on Family Search and - HUTTYBAKERTREE.

If you have trouble accessing the tree information on either site please contact me..

RE: A huge gesture of Appreciation
You have no idea what this generous gesture of yours has meant for us..Many of whom have all but given up (or also passed).
I would like to acknowledge you both on I just write, "julia&keld of" ?
If I could stretch your kindness, that one extra bit; although unofficially..My grandmother's grave should be in St Kilda cemetery also.
Her full name: Florence Leticia Jane SOWDON, nee HENDLEY.
(Born,22 Jan 1881 Caulfield, Victoria, Australia
Died, 18 Jul 1957; Age 76).
God Bless you Both..
And once more Thank you!

A huge gesture of Appreciation
Many many thanks, for providing a photograph of our family's HENDLEY headstone in StKilda cemetery, Melbourne 26 December 2105.
It came as such a surprise, as no notification was received.
I know I made the request some time back.On behalf of all current family descendants

RE: edits
Hi Julia & Keld,
No I always check dates from reliable sources such as ancestry. I too want to make sure Findagrave is as accurate as possible.
Kind regards,

Hi my friends, i went to ''Goffs Oak'' Jewish cemetery to do some photo requests and also did some photo's for one of your memorials of ''Solomon Schonfeld'' whilst there.
By the side of him was the grave of ''Judith Schonfeld'' which i assume to be his relation. I did some photo's and raised a basic memorial for her but as i don't understand Hebrew i couldn't put any more info to it. Even basic such as B: or D: dates. I only do the photographs (which i love doing) and not the family history stuff so, could you help out with the info please and send some edits? Or, if you prefer i'll transfer the memorial to you? Many thank's and Happy new year.

I do not think he is related (more work required) but I do wonder why he has a war memorial tombstone when he shot and killed himself on a train on his way to his regiment at Felixtowe in November 1916 (info from British Newspapers).

There is a memorial to him in Hertfordshire also that says he sacrificed himself in the Great War suggesting he died on active service.

Just interested.
