Genealogy has been a hobby of mine for 35+ years now. I started searching Find A Grave for information on my own family lines, then became a member and added a few memorials and tombstone photographs. Things have slowly grown from there.
If I'm managing a memorial for one of your relatives, please let me know. I will gladly transfer any memorial not in my own direct line. Just use the edit tab on the memorial and include your Find A Grave member number with your request. Please indicate your relationship to the person on the memorial in your request.
ATTENTION: I want to make sure that proper credit is given for any photograph posted in my name in Henderson, McLean, and Webster counties in Kentucky. Those photographs were taken by and posted with the permission of my Find A Grave friend, Karen Waddell. Karen and I have formed a sort of Find A Grave partnership where I set up the memorials and she does the leg work of visiting and photographing the cemeteries. Some photographs she posts herself but a great many she forwards on to me for posting. If you want to thank someone for a tombstone photograph which I have posted for one of your relatives in those counties, please send your thanks to Karen. She deserves it!
