Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in genealogy and finding my roots many years ago. In 2005, I began working for a company that has several cemeteries located near it. Weather permitting, I started going out during my lunch hour and visiting these cemeteries and taking pictures. I then discovered the MI Tombstone Project were I could upload my photos and help others locate their ancestors.

I've been trying to add my photos onto Find-A-Grave but it is a longer process trying to upload to two different sites. I have faith that I will eventually get it done. Somewhere along the way I also became Michigan's Ingham County Keeper for Find A Grave. If you find one of my photos on MI Tombstone Project, please let me know and I will upload it to FAG.

If you happen to stumble upon any Vance, Kaloz, Torok, Meehan, Cosgriff, Quinlans, Davarns, McVeigh I'd love to hear from you.

Note: If you find a photo that I took click on that photo and you will see my notes. Sometimes you'll get lucky and find other ancestors that you didn't know about based on my comments.

Please read the Help with Find A Grave link before requesting transers. I'm pretty good about fulfilling requests outside of the "direct relatives within four generations" rule. I believe the memorials are in better hands with family and/or a descendant than with myself that is a stranger to the family history. Plus, I have discovered that it is easier for "living" relatives to find you if you are the manager of the memorial. However, if you demand the request versus asking politely and if you don't state your relationship you will not receive the memorial.

Thank you.

RE: Cornelia Ann COYKENDALL Dean
Hello Terri,

I visited that cemetery recently and photographed some old markers. The date of birth inscribed on the marker in my photo was clearly Mar. 11, 1763. I did not upload my photo since there was one previously uploaded by someone else; the month is not quite as clear on that photo but the date and year are. That was my source. Perhaps you have better information and the marker is incorrect? My edit is a suggestion; use your discretion.

RE: Mary Struble
You are most welcome Terri, I often look for extra things about the persons' graves I am placing pictures on and I came across a site you may or may not be aware of for the Struble family.

I am also sending you an e-mail with something else I found.

Take care

Just curious as to where you found the article that I found on Samuel McVeigh, it has my writing on the botton, G.R. Herald, Aug,11, 1898.
Thanks, Marilynn

RE: Ancestor Headstone Photos
Our pleasure. We're not done with the Struble monument, but getting back to the west side of Seneca Lake with our alternate light source equipment might have to wait until Spring. We didn't post two sides of the monument and you were unhappy with the results of one...a challenge! ~Cheers

RE: Struble
You're welcome, Terri. Regarding the Dean & Hannah Struble inscription, I'm afraid that's one we'll have to get back to you on. The monument is in a wooded section and we could not reflect any helpful light onto it. Likewise, wetting the surface didn't help. This is a case where we would post a transcription with the image if we were able to read the difficult bits ourselves but, alas, we could not. There is also a fourth side to the monument that we did not post. As to the Adam Struble inscription, I thought we captured a perfectly readable image:

ADAM STRUBLE. / DIED / Oct. 22, 1867. / AGED / 82 years.

Please feel free to email us and I will provide you with lots more information.
